I changed my user name and can't login to desk top

I changed my user name and now it will not let me update the user name in the desktop version. It is grayed out with the old user name.

In order to better assist you further, could you please further elaborate and specify which username you are referring to exactly (Quicken ID, Community username, username for your financial institution, etc)?

The original username was nstillman@handlerthayer.com. That is my work email so I changed my email to nbsfinances@gmail.com.
The first email constantly populates the sign in boxes so I can’t connect to update accounts or sync or anything.0 -

The correct address shows up in my mobile app. But I cannot connect it because my desktop app has the wrong Id in the sign in box0
