Undo Button?

I noticed a few places that you can look at a menu and there is sometimes an "Undo" option. Is there any way to put an "Undo" button in the toolbar that works on everything? If not is there any "Undo" option that is available hidden in one of the file tabs. I guess I'll deal with it if it isn't an option but I want to find it if it is available.

Thanks

Quicken Windows doesn't have a universal undo feature. It has very limited undo "delete" for exactly one transaction that was just deleted.

Take this as a hint to backup often.

    Hello @Johnathan_1972,

What Chris_QPW said is correct—Quicken Classic for Windows does not have a universal undo feature. However, there are two limited “undo” options available in the register when you right-click a transaction:

    • Undo Delete – Only becomes available immediately after deleting a transaction.
    • Undo Accept All Transactions – Only becomes available right after you’ve accepted all downloaded transactions in a register.

Both options are greyed out by default and only become clickable following those specific actions.

For reference, Quicken Classic for Mac does have a universal Undo [last action] option in the toolbar, but this functionality is not available in the Windows version.

That said, there is this active Idea post requesting a universal undo button. The status of that request is currently Under Consideration. If you’d like to see this feature added in the future, you can vote for it by clicking the up arrow under the vote count on that post and optionally adding a comment explaining how it would be useful for you.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks All!

My initial question was triggered by a mistake I made and couldn't fix. I will slow down and pay more attention to my work and I should be fine. I didn't want to miss it if it was an option.

    Thank You!
