What is your favorite cool treat?

On hot days, a cool treat can feel pretty good. Since a lot of frozen treats are a bit too cold for my liking (and also tend to be high calorie), my favorite cool treat is a Honeycrisp apple that's been in the 'fridge overnight. It's sweet, and being chilled in the 'fridge makes it a nice, refreshingly cool treat.

What kind of cool treats do you enjoy?

How about a refreshing glass of ice tea, sweetened or unsweetened, the way it's done in the Southeast, with plenty of lemon juice and ice cubes?

I’m an Ice Cream girl. My favorite is the white chocolate Magnums, or if it’s scoops—then I like ube or coffee flavor! 😋

My favorite treat this summer has been a concrete at the local frozen custard place that has strawberries & bits of chocolate mixed in.

  • A vanilla milkshake. Not too sweet but cool and refreshing.

I don't drink much beer during the winter, but on a hot summer day, nothing beats an ice cold bottle of beer, or better yet one in a frosted mug, or even better a free one from my brother who's always on my boat!

Go hiking, fishing, cut grass with push mower, etc.; get sweaty as hades. Then find me an outdoor hydrant, take off sweaty ole shirt, open up the cool water. Splash that cool water over head, wash out sweaty shirt and wipe down upper body. Makes chill bumps pop up on your skin! Feel like a 'New Man', at least as much as possible for an Old Timer like me 🤣 Plus, reminds me of younger days after football practice. At that time, would go across street to the school bus repair shop next to football field. Put in about 5 cents (forget exact price) in Coke machine for a '6 & 1/2 ounce Ice Cold Coca-Cola (sweetened with cane sugar back then) in a bottle'! Now though, will come home & drink ICE COLD beer, or Sweet Tea on occasion 😉
