PNC Direct Connect NOT Working
As of August 14, 2025, the PNC Direct Connect is not functioning. Quicken for Windows Version: R63.21 Build 27.1.63.21 - Any ideas?

- Is the connection failure affecting all PNC accounts in Quicken or just specific ones?
- Have you made any recent changes to your PNC online banking login, security settings, or connection method?

No error codes, but no information is downloaded. I can download manually.

I have been using Direct Connect for a long time.

Quicken stopped downloading transactions on or about August 11th.

All PNC Accounts are affected.

No changes have been made in login, security settings, or connection method. Hope this information helps.

Based on what you’re seeing, please review this support article regarding missing transactions or new transactions not downloading in Quicken for Windows. It explains common reasons why accounts might stop downloading recent transactions and provides context for troubleshooting.
As mentioned in the article, if this issue continues beyond a one-time occurrence, your financial institution may need to escalate it on their end, since Direct Connect relies on the bank’s servers and Quicken doesn’t have direct access to them.

Well, this is another of the many companies that will not download transactions this week. This is the first Direct Connect. The rest are Sallie Mae and Fidelity Investments which are Express Connect +. When is Quicken going to fix the problems with the Download Functions for accounts? It never ends.
Using Quicken Premier R63.21 and Windows 24H2 all patches.
I have submitted all online through Quicken.
Getting very tired of paying for something that has not worked for 5 days straight for the last 2 years!

Quicken Kristina, The issue is not that I am missing transactions, it is that Quicken is not downloading them at all. I tried your link above and do not have a reset button on any of my registers. I do not have any filters on and all are sorted by date. Thx.

So this morning 9-13, PNC Bank is downloading transactions, it just does not show up on the download summary, nor post it as updated under the account name on the account page. If there are no transactions to download, it shows nothing about the connection or update anywhere so you have no idea that it updated at all.

I'm glad to hear that it is downloading transactions. To clarify, was it not downloading yesterday, or was the problem that the transactions were there, but you weren't receiving notification that there was anything new to review?
