Version R64.29 changed online billers
I was offered this an d accepted this morning. Biggest change is that "most" of my Online Billers went from an ENTER button to a Quick Pay button.
I do not use Quick Pay. Never have.
Why was this done and how to I get ENTER back?
And, two of my billers, like most, I have the reminders set to $ 0.00. This update changed those to the last amount paid. I changed them back.

I'm having a deja vu on this but I'm recalling it was with the Mac version.
More issues here in Windows in this build. My reminders, which are set to 0.00 keep changing back to the last known payment amount no matter how many times I change them. And one biller now has a PAY button, yet that biller is an EFT from another account.
I'm not sure where to start to fix this one. I did search for conversations I may have had on similar and came up blank. I am thinking it was with Mac and the requirement that something had to be linked to the cloud. But I have never had that issue in Windows.
So, last few updates broke a bunch for me. In Mac, payments are no longer downloading and clearing in Credit Cards! The Checking Account or EFT clears, but the payment does not. Now on 4 different accounts.
And here in Windows, entire Online Bills has changed.
Anyone else?

Hello @Bob.,
Thank you for sharing your experience with R64.29. To clarify, did the default option change from Enter to QuickPay only for online billers and linked reminders, or did this impact all your reminders, whether they are linked to an online biller or not?
I see you posted about the credit card issue in QMac in a different discussion, and I responded to you there to avoid mixing troubleshooting for QMac and QWin in the same thread.
I look forward to your response!

This changed MANY if not most of my Online Billers in Windows. Even one to PAY and I do not recall ever seeing that. But the Enter's are Quick Pays and the reminders, as mentioned above, are not keeping their settings.
I really do not know what to try. I might do an unlink, delete biller, readd, relink and see, but out of energy with all of this tonight.

OK, unlinked deleted readded and relinked the TWO billers that were stuck on having an amount in the reminders. That fixed those two now waiting on next bill. So it reset them to fresh.
Most MANUAL billers are fine. But ALL Online Billers are now Quick Pay when they definitely were ENTER and that one T-Mobile is PAY which I do not understanbd at all as it is an EFT and other EFTs do not have that issue. So I unlinked, deleted, etc T-Mobile and now PENDING as a new biller so I have no idea if the Pay will change to ENTER.
But @Quicken Kristina this UPDATE for sure caused this havoc in Online Billers Windows.
OK, OSU and T-mobile back to PAY. Now one manual bill changed date due and one online biller reminder back to bad date and amount other than 0.00. Corrected those, OSU and seem ok.
This is exhausting :( And I haven't even tried the Fidelity EWC change over yet.

Thank you for your reply,
To clarify, after going through multiple troubleshooting steps on your own, everything is showing correctly, but you still have QuickPay as the default option for your online billers?
If that is the case, I see the same thing in my Quicken after the update. My online billers now all default to QuickPay instead of Enter.
I forwarded this internally to my team to verify if this is intended behavior or a bug.
If the other issues you listed persist, please let me know!

Thanks @Quicken Kristina Please let me know if this is INTENDED and a result of this update.
T-Mobile is still oddly "Pay" I do not understand why that is different than the other EFT Billers.
I'm going to go check to see if the two errant bills have maintained the 0.00 scheduled payments. Assume thy have and if not will be back to post shortly.

Still sticky likely because Quicken thinks they are new billers so the old corruption gone.
I think I figured out the T-Mobile "PAY". All other EFT's are to a credit card. T-Mobile is to a DEBIT Card so Quicken thinks it can be paid from the checking account rather than an EFT normal transaction. Curious one, eh? So Quicken gives it PAY rather than ENTER.

Copied from another thread and I felt should be said here as well…
More on the QUICK PAY vs ENTER. I do not think ANYONE who is not enrolled in QUICK PAY should EVER see that on a button. This is a VERY bad choice by the developers / marketers / product managers.
And for me, the ONLY way to correct the billers broken by this update was to remove and readd causing them to have no history and now "awaiting first bill". Another bad move.
And a bill that formerly had no issue and is an EFT from my Debit Card now has a button called "PAY" which is a first and incorrect.
Look, I truly appreciate @Quicken Anja @Quicken Kristina and few others @Quicken that I have had a chance to work more in dept with . But I TRULY cannot imagine that any amount of decent testing has been done with releases like this and they are allowed to be released to PAYING users!! There is no evidence of quality testing in So many cases these last months.
I'm going to copy this over to my thread on these broken billers.

@Bob: "But I

There is no evidence of quality testing in So many cases these last months."Bob, I COULDN'T AGREE WITH YOU MORE ON THIS. Surely Q has customers who will lend them their databases on which to "test" new sub-routines and programming code? (If not, contact ME, BECAUSE I WILL.) I can't even count the times Quicken has broken my data file — and the hours and days of my life I'll never get back, attempting to get it somewhat back to "normal."

Thank you for your replies,
I'm still waiting to hear back from our teams about whether the change to Quick Pay being the default option was intended. Once I hear back, I'll let you know.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we understand that customers do sometimes need to vent their frustration, we do try to keep discussions productive and on topic. I'm not seeing any other posts about the rental module issue you mentioned. If you want assistance with that issue, I recommend that you start a new discussion, so that the issue can get the attention it needs (for information on creating a new discussion, click here).
Thank you!

@Quicken Kristina I'm afraid I have more issues with the New Biller - this time BOTH Mac and Windows :( But two quirks here so its a pin the tail on the donkey.
On Sept 19th early, Fidelity (Elan) notified me my September bill was now available. Fine. Happens every month. And not unusual for Quicken to not pick that up for a few days, and then Windows first and Mac could lag a day more. Or even vice versa.
That was a Friday. So i did not expect Quicken to get it over the weekend, but I did expect to see it tonight in one of my running versions. Nothing.
So I cannot tell you if I am not getting this because of the New Biller, or because its Fidelity!! Or both. I should be getting a notification tomorrow from Chase. Maybe day after. If that does not come in then definitely new biller.
So many issues here. So many. Exhausting.
BTW, Fidelity bill due in 20 days. Should have been picked up. That's a shorter window than usual.
