Anyone else having trouble with Axos bank?

I am unable to update transactions once again. Last year when this occured, I switched to Axos DC and the situation resovled. Currently I have tried to reset the account and that just locked up Quicken. I disabled the account and cannot reactivate it. I get a generic error message to either try again or contact Quicken. Anyone have any solutions?

    Axos Bank DC is currently showing as Active in FIDIR.TXT, which records all of the connections between Q and the various financial institutions:

    SO, what's the specific error message that you're getting?

    And, this is a user-to-user forum. Have you tried contacting Q Support via the link at the top of this page?

    I don't get a specific error

    I can't add, update or set up. I thought that I would get a quicker reponse from the community if anyone else was having this issue.

    Since late July 2025, I had successfully used "AXOS Bank DC" daily to download transactions from my Axos Bank accounts via One Step Update. But around 9/15/2025, I started getting error code OL-295-A when trying to do One Step Update via AXOS Bank DC. Here are the details provided by Quicken:

    During the last online session, Quicken encountered an online error [OL-295-A].

    Your transaction was rejected because your financial institution's server is not accepting requests at this time. Try again later, or contact your financial institution for more information.

    What do I do now? Wait and try again later.
    Try updating your account the next business day. If the problem persists, contact Axos Bank DC at 858-649-2583 for more information and assistance with this issue.

    Axos Bank customer support confirmed that this is a known issue, but they can't tell me when it will be fixed.

    I just spoke w/ AXOS and they confirmed that they did a recent account/software update and believe that this may be the reason for the issue. The guy I spoke w/ talked to their "back office/software??" and they said they hoped to have a solution in the next 24-48 hrs. Here's hoping!

    I am having the same problem. The last transaction I have from Axos bank is from 9/5/25 and today I'm getting the error HTTP-403 Error from Axos Bank DC. I have been connected to Axos Bank DC but it no longer works. I can't connect to Axos in Quickbooks, either.

    I am having ol-295-A errors with Axos Bank DC and the bank will not assist and Quicken only says talk to the bank, when trying to add the account new I am getting an OL-293-A, any suggestions or possibly a contact at the bank to escalate?

    We have forwarded this issue to the proper channels to have this further investigated. However, we request that you please navigate to Help > Report a problem within your Quicken program and submit a problem report with log files and screenshots attached in order to contribute to the investigation.

    I am having the same problem. I tried disconnecting my account, and then reconnecting, but I can't reconnect either. I submitted a problem report with a sanitized data file. Please add me to the ticket.

    I am also having this same issue with Axos Bank DC. I have tried resetting my accounts, disconnected one of them but now I can't reconnect it. My other accounts are not updating either. Same issue as all others, there are no errors being displayed and it simply states to try again in a day or two and if the problem persists, contact Quicken. This has been happening since the middle of September. I am using Quicken Classic for Windows. Please also add me to your ticket.

    Hi @pgmuller,

    Glad yours is working again. I just tried it again and went through the same routine using Axos DC as before [w/3rd party confirmation of Axos acct, etc.], and my Q wouldn't log on to AXOS and find my accounts, so it's still not working for me.

    Laserjock, same here. Did the 3rd party confirmation and won't connect. At least I got to the authentication from Axos; wasn't even getting that far before.

    It is working again for me, but the steps to get there were clunky and not obvious. When I tried to reconnect my quicken account to Axos Bank DC, it asked me for my credentials. But then it went to another screen where it said I need to authorize a credential, and presented various options like (a) proceed without downloading and (b) I already have direct connect credentials and finally signing up for Axos online access (which I already had). The option I really needed to use was fairly well hidden. In the text in the box with the "sign up" option there was something saying click on the word "here" to sign in. I did that, entered my credentials again, and it asked to send a code to my cell phone that I needed to enter on the next screen. Once I did that, the web browser page said it was successful, but the Quicken screen didn't change. So I next picked the option on that screen saying that I already have direct connection credentials, and entered my credentials again. Then, Quicken accepted those and showed me the usual account linkage screen where I could either connect the account it found at Axos to an existing account or create a new Quicken account. I picked the link-to-existing option since I had previously had this all linked up before it stopped working, and everything worked correctly from that point.

    I am having this issue also except I keep looping back to needing credential authorizaion, getting autherization, entering credentials etc. I have tried "here" , "sign up" and all combinations of trying to connect. No luck. I have also tried to connect with different Axos accounts. Nope.
