One account, two credit card numbers, download transactions from only one

My wife and I have two Citibank Costco credit cards. I would assume my wife is the primary on the account since she set it up. In Quicken I created the account using my number. I don't think I realized at the time there were different numbers, but I swear there was not an issue before. In the past month or two I've tried to check receipts against the downloaded transactions and noticed that I'd have receipts left over against which there were no downloaded matches. Those were all for my wife's card. I checked the credit card online and found the missing transactions there and payments are going through without issue, no lates or fees. So it seems to be just a downloading issue.

I created an additional new Quicken account - keeping the old one - and downloaded the transactions. They seem to match up until sometime in November. Did anything happen around that time? And why does this new account I created suddenly match the transactions I see in the Citibank webpage but the old one doesn't? Seems like it is going to be a lot of work to fix now.

Who set up the account in Q has nothing to do with "primary card holder". That has to do with WHO originally opened the account, and who is an "authorized user". On your monthly statements it will probably list the "primary" card first.

SO, you might need to figure that out.

BUT, there's also a bit more info needed. When you do TOOLS, Account List … what does it say in the "Financial Institution" and "Transaction Download" columns adjacent to this account?
