    The specific issue with "Unidentified Security" has an alert. If the instructions from the alert did not resolve the issue, please contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance. They have access to tools we can't access on the Community and can escalate the issue as needed. Quicken Support's contact information can be found through this link here. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday. Chat support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, 7 days a week (but if an issue needs to be escalated, that can't be done on weekends).

    I followed the steps you posted just now. Will FUTURE downloads correctly download the security names or is your steps just to correct it this one time?

    Where is the security alert? The link you posted has a permission error.

    This bug still exists. I have it with both Fidelity and Vanguard. I have tried everything suggested so far, and nothing actually fixes it going forward. So I keep having to manually edit or enter transactions.

    Honestly, this has made Quicken SO much work that I am now starting to look for alternatives to Quicken. This one bug increases the amount of work required by an order of magnitude and the bug has existed for multiple years now. Just really unacceptable lack of quality from Quicken.

    When will they actually fix the bug?!
