    Thank you for the follow-up,

Thank you for sending the updated problem report, though I'm sorry to hear the issue persists. I added the updated logs, along with a comment that the problem persists, to the CTP.

    Thank you!

    Thanks Kristina.

Have you found it helps at all to either delete the series and/or eBiller and readd in these situations on Mac? I had much more experience with "tricking or tickling" in Windows. I don't want to make this worse or take longer to fix.

    Thank you for your reply,

I don't have a Fidelity Visa to test with. Deleting and recreating wasn't helpful with my Capital One online biller, though.

    Thank you!

Thanks. Likely the same for Fidelity then. The only possible exception ifs you can link the online biller for Fidelity two ways" through Fidelity or through Fidelity Investments. Before the new biller, could use Elan but no longer an option. I wonder if one of the two current fidelity billers makes a positive difference. Have not tried as I donlt want another round of two cycles of "Awaiting next Bill".

My card is connected through Fidelity Investments, so I guess we'll find out soon if that matters.

Thanks for that, Jon. I am as well.

Been getting every other bill immediately, as in the day the statement closed. Should have had Fidelity on the 18th.

Perhaps I'll pay it tomorrow then change to Fidelity and see what happens.

I'm connected through Elan Financial now. So I guess we have all bases covered lol. I tried Fidelity early on and got nothing and then switched to Elan Financial. No ebill has ever been received on either connection.

For the Online Biller, Dennis? Or for the account transactions? I have no option for Elan in the NEW Online Biller.

  • Bob.
Bob. Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭✭✭

I was unable to use that for the Fidelity Visa. You were able to, Dennis? I might try that again.

    Thanks for the screenshot.

Ahh, here is why I cannot. I have the ACCOUNT connected to Fidelity, so trying to add the biller in Elan shows:

Yes I think I switched the account to Elan and then linked the bill.

OK, did some testing today. Got under my skin.

You can add the Fidelity Rewards Visa as an account under Fidelity Investments or Elan Financial. You cannot (or at least I could not find a way) to add it as Fidelity - where you can as an Online Biller. So the permutations of Account and Online Bill are:

    • Fidelity Investments Fidelity Investments
    • Fidelity Investments Fidelity
    • Elan Financial Elan Financial

I did not try: Elan Financial Fidelity Investments.

I created a Quicken test file with Elan/Elan as well as my live with Fidelity so I have the first and last implemented and can see if either work next month as I had to pay my March Bill to be sure it is paid timely. So March 17 I should get my Fidelity Statement. Will see if either comes in. In Mac, at the moment, all other Online Billers are coming in within 24 hours of statement close. Won't even talk about Windows :( But billers used to take as much as 3-4 days after statement close, so I will give it some leeway to see.

Thank you for sharing your experience,

Please let us know when/if the statement arrives!

OMG first time ever since new ebiller! My Fidelity Rewards Visa ebill finally downloaded today. I'm using Elan Financial as the FI. I had just upgraded to 8.5.1. Maybe that's what finally fixed it.

Wow. Thanks for posting. My bill not due for a few weeks but you give me hope!

I have Elan in my "TEST" file and indeed, the eBill just popped up for this month even though already paid.. Fidelity in my LIVE file did not.

Now I need to see if there is a way to change the account from Fidelity Investments to Elan without losing anything my register. Open to advice.

I think I will wait a little to see it the Elan continues to work or by chance the Fidelity starts to work. Would be easiest if the latter. But if not, will consider the change.

It’s been a week since my last statement was issued and still nothing on my card connected to Fidelity Investments so I’m going to try switching to Elan as well.

@Bob. You shouldn’t lose any transactions from changing to Elan but there’s a good chance you’ll get some duplicate transactions you need to delete.

  • Bob.
Bob. Quicken Windows Subscription Member ✭✭✭✭

Please post how you do the change and the results, @Jon. Duplicates should not be a big issue.

@Quicken Kristina do you have any thoughts? Is this indicative Fidelity Investments will work soon or do you think switching to Elan is the recommended path?

@Bob. It's pretty simple to change the connection - go into Account Settings for your Fidelity Visa and on the Downloads tab select the Disconnect Account button to disconnect it from Fidelity. Then go back into Account Settings and on the Downloads tab click the Connect Account button and select "Elan Financial Services" as the institution.

It worked fine for me and no duplicate transactions either. Connecting the eBill worked as well (upgrade to 8.5.1 if you haven't yet) and the amount & due date are appearing in the eBill column. The View Statement option isn't showing me anything yet, so I'll have to keep an eye on that - I reconnected my Amex card and I see the same things there so it probably just takes some time for the statement to be updated.

Good to know, Jon. I did not update from 8.4 as I read there are NEW online biller issues in 8.5. Were those fixed in 8.5.1?

  • Jon
Jon Quicken Mac Subscription SuperUser, Mac Beta Beta

@Bob. They are fixed for me - I wasn't able to connect either Fidelity Visa or Amex eBills in 8.5 but they both connect in 8.5.1.

    Cool. Thanks.

OK, has anyone received an eBill for Fidelity this month?I believe Elan is working, but likely not Fidelity. Would appreciate others experiences, especially @Jon if you are seeing the actual Fidelity ebill, not just transactions.

It's too early for me, my next statement won't arrive for another 10 days or so.

OK, made the change for the account and eBill from Fidelity to Elan and works as expected now. So odd the CHOICE for Fidelity, Fidelity Investments and Elan are all available for both the account and eBill yet only Elan (now) works as expected. And then no communication at all from Quicken when this was corrected for at least one choice. But, seems to work now.

    Thank you for the update,

I'm glad to hear that the Elan eBill connection is working!

BTW, the ELAN eBill has the wrong icon, fwiw. Looks like US Bank maybe. Not the Elan logo.

Thank you for letting us know that the icon is incorrect. I can see that you already sent a problem report with screenshots. That will help our teams investigate the issue!

I use Elan Financial on Quicken Mac for eBills from 2 Fidelity Rewards Cards. Within the last month the logo displayed on the Bills & Income page changed to US Bank (Elan is apparently a subsidiary), and the Fidelity Rewards Card eBills are now automatically updated with the correct statement amounts. I don't receive the actual statement via Quicken, but the statement amount is accurate.

This is the first time in several years that Fidelity Rewards Cards eBills update automatically. I didn't make the change - it updated itself. Again, I use Elan Financial for the eBill connection.

Thanks @compusol I agree with all. Did not know Elan is a sub of US Bank. That would explain the icon! And yes, been a VERY VERY long time since I got a Fidelity Visa eBill.
