Why is the "Update completed and new transactions were downloaded..." flag changed?
This little yellow flag in the Windows status bar has been relatively stable over the years; it showed up after an automatic update if there are new transactions to be reconciled, but is not displayed if there weren't any new transactions downloaded. Following the update to R66.23 yesterday, the flag shows up regardless of there being anything to reconcile. Why has this changed?

The flag started working again yesterday after a few days out of service.

I was forced to update to Windows 11 Home because Windows 10 is no longer being supported (per the messaging from Microsoft).
In the past, the flag appears in the notification taskbar section of the Windows screen (lower right) only if a successful scheduled download occurs AND new transactions are available for reconciliation in the downloaded accounts (typically banks and/or credit cards). Once those transactions were reconciled, the flag disappeared.
Now, it appears all the time whether there are new transactions or not, however the message is "Update completed and new transactions were downloaded into Quicken."

I am not able to replicate this issue. I recommend that you contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance, as they have tools we can't access on the Community, and they're able to escalate the issue as needed.
