The Russell 2000 index stopped updating a few days ago

The Russell 2000 index (Index:IUT) stopped updating during the day in Investing/Portfolio view a couple of days ago. If I go back to an earlier day that did not update, I then do see an entry for that date…but nothign intra day when live

Having the same problem; updating quit on Wednesday March 4. Same thing as Mr Owens, if I go back to an earlier day, there will be an entry, but nothing intra-day

Kind of "glad" to hear someone else has the same issue so I know it is not specific to me. I am new to using this forum. Is there anyway to report bugs in this forum to the Quicken team?

It would also aid the investigation to include a sanitized file when submitting the problem report. A sanitized file is a data file that removes personally identifiable information so you can comfortably share this file with the Quicken team.

While you will not receive a response through this submission, these reports will help our teams in further investigating the issue. The more problem reports we receive, the better.

Please let us know once that is done, and we apologize for any inconvenience in the meantime! Thank you.

Anja, Thanks for diving in and helping with this. Before your message came in, a Chat-Bot made the same recommendation to me and I submitted my Problem report around 2:30-ish today EST…Thanks again.

@RA Forster and @mike.owens Thank you both for submitting the problem reports and providing those files—we appreciate you taking the time to do that.

Your details and files have been added to the internal ticket for investigation. At this time, we do not have an ETA for resolution, but the information you provided will help our teams as they continue looking into the issue.

Thank you again for your help!

    Same Russell 2000 problem here….

    @RA Forster @mike.owens @bmarcato

Please go to Tools > Security List and find the entry for the Russell 2000.

In my files, it is listed as "Russell 2000" with a Ticker Symbol of IUX. If I add a new security for the Russell 2000, it is listed as "RUSSELL 2000 INDEX" with a Symbol of INDEX:RUT. Both of these seem to work for me but they are not INDEX:IUT as listed in the OP.

What is the Symbol in your Security List? Is the Download Quotes box checked? Is the Watch List box checked? It may be that both of those need to be checked for the quotes to download. For me, the IUX quotes only downloaded for the past 5 days unless the Watch List box was checked and I downloaded historical quotes.

I have experienced the same problem with the Russell 2000 Index (IUX) for the last three weeks. I have experimented with various configurations of the "Download" and "Watch" list settings, but nothing has resolved this problem. This is not a huge issue, as I can easily check the Russell 2000 index as needed on various internet sites. However, this should be an easy fix. Perhaps Quicken is now using a different security symbol to access Russell 2000 information. My preference is to fix this problem so that the Russell 2000 index is automatically updated as has been the case in the past. But if that cannot be done (or will not be done), I would like to be so informed so that I do not waste additional time tinkering with this.

IUX is downloading for me. In security list, "Download" and "Watch List" are both checked.

@mrzookie note the correct symbol is IUX, not INDEX:IUX. Both Download Quotes and Watch List must be checked in the Security List. The Security Type should be Market Index.

It seems that the Russell 2000 index IS updating, but not until the next day. The "clock" icon next to the symbol never goes off so it appears not to be updating, but according to the security price history, it is.

@Jim_Harman You are correct, it is just IUX, not Index:IUX. Entering IUX or RUT or Index:RUT into the Quicken new security search all bring you to the same result - INDEX:RUT. Oddly enough, they display differently in the Security Details and on the Investments page, but they are one and the same.
