Paying my credit card bill resulted in all charge transactions being changed to credits

Quicken classic on windows. Issue started sometime after February 13. I pay my Chase credit card bill monthly. When I entered a payment transaction this morning, all the transactions in the account register moved to the Payment column and the payment itself did not appear as a transaction. The remaining balance shown for the account was roughly correct. What's up with that? It's unhandy, to say the least.

Are you running QWeb or QMobile? They've been known to sometimes cause bizarre events in your account registers.

SO, you might try taking a backup, just in case and then Restoring from a backup created before this began, turning off Web & Mobile and re-downloading from your banks/cards/etc.

Then, re-recording that payment/transfer from your bank account to the card account in Q and seeing what happens.

Let us know the outcome. There are other things to try.
