Idea: Adding Attachments & Error Messages

I spent a ton of time trying to figure out why files would sometimes attach while others wouldn't.

  1. PLEASE show the user an error message.
    Is the file name too long?
    Are there special characters that are not allowed?
    Please provide some feedback so that we don't have to experiment.
  2. PLEASE allow the normal special characters that you might find in a filename. For example:
    DID NOT WORK: Kohls 2025-06-26 - Jake Curtains.pdf
    DID WORK: Kohls 20250626 Jake Curtains.pdf
    CAVEAT: I'm still wondering if the issue was the length or the special character that caused the problem. Please don't make your users become your QA team.
