Why reactivate is not working for Bank of America
I have been trying to reactivate my online update for checking acct. on Bank of America, I have gone through the setup steps to connect to the bank's website and reauthorize data to share with the Quicken program. After I get a validate code from the bank, I enter it and click share data with Quicken. The page, program, goes to a spinning circle, and to make the final settings, I think, but the Quicken program just sits and does not go any further; I can't even go back to the register or even resize the window. The program freezes up. I have to use the task manager to get out of the program.
I have tried to have chat line tech help me. They say to wait 2 days before trying to reauthorize the account again, but I didn't get any help from them. I went to the second pc in the house and tried to set up the same Quicken program, and all worked fine on that pc, how do I solve this on the laptop that worked {One step update} for the last year?

BofA goes by multiple names in Q … which are you trying to use?

I have Bank of America - All other States that has worked in the past, Now when Quicken asks for bank name I put in Bank of America, and Quicken Shows me zzz-Bank of America, i dont know why, On 2nd computer I just shortened to Bank of America, I couldnt do that on this one because quicken just freezes up

- Where is your Quicken data file stored?
- Please provide the exact file path as shown in the example below.
- Is your file being synced/backed up by any third-party services like OneDrive, Dropbox, or Carbonite?
- Are you using a VPN while updating your accounts? If so, does disabling it make any difference?
- Do you have any antivirus or malware protection software running that may be interfering with Quicken? If so, have you tried temporarily disabling it to see if the issue persists?
- When did this issue first start occurring?
- Were there any significant changes to your system or software before the issue began (updates, new installations, etc.)?
- You said Quicken freezes up. Do you see any errors at any point in this process?

C\users\tdray\RiceRd.1, synced only with Quicken online backup, Not using any vin on one step update unless auto sign in It started , have turned Norton 360 off and tried makes no difference, it started about a week ago, no major changes in pc dont see errors, just asks me to reauthorize other accounts I dont need to keep track of, so i just hit maybe later, at the freeze point the quicken screen just keeps spinning the circle, and nothing else happens, I have to use task manger to close the program very frustrating, Thanks, Tim

got on phone with quicken tech service, they were able to find problem and solve it, they closed many addons on my pc to let quicken and bank connect with each other Thank you for your time. Tdraym
