Is this a manually entered transaction or a downloaded one?Sherlock said:If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-view-edit-or-delete-transactions-quicken-mobile-app

What options do you see when you tap on the menu icon for the transaction you want to delete?0 -
Only "split"Sherlock said:If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-view-edit-or-delete-transactions-quicken-mobile-app

If you haven't already, you may want to uninstall and reinstall the app. If the issue persists, I suggest contacting Quicken Support.Sherlock said:If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-view-edit-or-delete-transactions-quicken-mobile-app

I'm wondering if this is an iOS specific issue...Sherlock said:If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-view-edit-or-delete-transactions-quicken-mobile-app
On an Android phone, when I tap on the options icon in the Edit transaction screen, the first option is Delete transaction as described in the instructions:
On an Android tablet, a small trash can icon should appear beside Split:
I don't use an iPhone, but I installed the Quicken Mobile app on an old iPad and found that the app UI is a bit different and the small trash can icon is missing.0 -
I just installed the iOS version yesterday and ran into this limitation today. Touching the entry give you a page where you can edit the details, but the only menu option is Split. I tried swipe left and press-and-hold but these didn’t yield any other options. Looks like this is an iOS limitation.Sherlock said:If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-view-edit-or-delete-transactions-quicken-mobile-app

To all and sundry, I just found out how to do this for both the iPad version and iPhone version.Sherlock said:If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-view-edit-or-delete-transactions-quicken-mobile-app
iPad version: Photo 1 Once you tap on the transaction and you look to the right of the “split” text there is negative space there...tap that and you should get a delete prompt.
iPhone version: Photo 2 once you tap on the transaction you will see the garbage can on the top right click that to delete.0 -
Clearly, on the iPad version, this is a bug worth reporting...Sherlock said:If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-view-edit-or-delete-transactions-quicken-mobile-app

I agree...I don’t know how to do that yet...but I will do my best to inform them.Sherlock said:If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-view-edit-or-delete-transactions-quicken-mobile-app

The app used to have a garbage can for the iPhone but does not anymore. I've updated the app to the most current version and it's still not there.0

Not sure what there is in Quicken Mobile but if you are using QM2017 v4.3 or newer, you can use the "Report a Problem" menu option, otherwise, posting here or calling Quicken support is the only way.Sherlock said:If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-view-edit-or-delete-transactions-quicken-mobile-app

It would appear that you cannot delete transactions that have been synced with your bank. You probably already know this. When the transaction is a synced item from your account it is depicted in bold type(photo 1 below). These types of transactions cannot be deleted, note the trash can icon is missing.J. Any items that you manually input are in grey(photo 2), notice the trash can. If you added that $8.00 transaction yourself look for the “grey” version.
@Sherlock Thanks

All of my transactions are put in manually and I never have it sync with the bank. Every single transaction, whether I input it on the mobile app or from my desktop, is missing the trash can.J. I see exactly the same problem, after entering a transaction on mobile app, there is no way to edit the amount or delete the transaction.J. Allen said:The app used to have a garbage can for the iPhone but does not anymore. I've updated the app to the most current version and it's still not there.

I am a Canadian user and my app does not have the trash can either. Looks like I can only edit the transaction on the desktop version.

Still no option. This transaction was just entered on my mobile app.0

Still don’t see three dots on my app. For some reason I can’t upload a photo, but it is the same as above.0

I am glade there is functionality to delete a transaction but I know I will not remember to select a blank area to dele a transaction.Sherlock said:If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-view-edit-or-delete-transactions-quicken-mobile-app
