Strange folder appears with Chinese characters when backing up Data File in Quicken 2007

I am trying to convert my Q2007 data file to Q2020. (not successfully unfortunately but that's another subject). When I back up my data file to disk, for about 2 seconds a folder appears on my desktop that has Chinese characters under the label. My Chinese speaking colleague says that the characters are gibberish. I have run Norton and it has not picked up on any malware or viruses. Has anyone in this community ever experienced something like this?

Are you talking about backing up your 2007 or 2020 data file?If the former, what version of macOS are you using?Also, have you tried re-indexing your 2007 data file before converting (CMD-OPT-B)? (Be sure to have backups before trying this).Have Questions? Check out these FAQs (links now fixed):
