I have experienced the same issue within the last couple of days, including the unexpected "zzz-" institution prefix. Tried resetting account and deactivating/activating transaction download (Direct Connect method) without success. Had previously worked fine for many years. Using version R31.8 and Windows 10.

    Hello,
I tried the OL-220 proposed fix for the USAA Savings Bank problem and it forces me to create a new account for each account I have with USAA. The problem is that when the new account is created, I lose all my historical transactions. Not good. Are you all planning on a new release/fix for this sometime soon? I rely heavily on Quicken during tax season.

    Thank you.

You should have been able to link to existing accounts if you had deactivated them all before hand.  At this point though it might be easier for you to move the old transactions to the new accounts:

    Hi,

Having said that, however, I can not get either Quicken on the Web or, of course, the Quicken Mobile App to sync this account -- I keep trying but get the exclamation point or yellow circle for the web or mobile versions respectively. After sync'g with Quicken Windows, I do a low priority error:
"The referenced resource (parameter = id, id= 221477091145940224) has been deleted" Even after selecting Apply Now, I still get that error.

What do I need to do to get the Web & Mobile versions to sync this account again?

The zzz- their way to say that that financial institution name has been "retired".

You need to deactivate any accounts with zzz-USAA Fed Savings Bank" then go to the General tab and clear out the financial institution name.

After that you can reactivate the account(s).

From there this announcement should have what you need to get it connected again.

I was able to deactivate all my USAA accounts and then reactivate and relink all accounts to the USAA Federal Savings Bank -New account by following the instructions here https://www.quicken.com/support/usaa-bank-direct-connect-customers-ol-220-error but I am still seeing strange behavior in my updates. For some reason Quicken is displaying any pending direct deposits to my checking account as a payment made by me and reducing my account balance instead of making it a deposit. When I update the next day it pulls in the completed deposit as a second entry in the deposit column. If I were to accept both entries I would get a net zero. Anyone else experiencing this with the new USAA set up? Any ideas on a fix?

I'm having the same problem as moneytracker8. I was able to fix my connection to the new USAA FSB, but my deposits are coming into Quicken as payments. I'm accepting them and then correcting them manually, but this needs to be fixed.

bdegarmo53 I reported this issue to Quicken and they have updated this post accordingly https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7887325/updated-1-27-21-usaa-federal-savings-bank-returns-ol-220-error

At least they acknowledge the problem and are investigating

Hi. Were you able to find a solution? Having the same issue only with the Web & Mobile. Windows app is good. W & M will not let add the "new" USAA. Thanks

After the USAA issue, I was able to get the "New" USAA but the Mobile & Web continues trying to use the "zzz". I tried resetting the cloud. Same issue. I then removed the USAA account from the cloud update. Now when I try and add them again to Mobile & Web, it tried to connect to the "New" USAA, but fails. I contacted support and after a 2 hour call their solution was to try and go to a several months back backup when we had the "zzz" issue and redo everything from there! If the windows portion works, why does the Mobile portion does not. Help please! Thanks

@QkNoGood It is a known problem that USAA sync to Mobile/Web isn't working right now.
