Request for new Securities view
Pgher
Could you please add a "Group By" view in the Investing tab that shows stock/security at the top level grouping, with a line showing the breakdown of each account that the stock is held in? It would essentially be the same as the Group By Accounts view, with the Security and Accounts group by levels switched. I've been looking and waiting for this feature for years. It would be very useful for when I want to sell a position, but don't know which accounts it's in. It could also expand to show lots, like the Group By Accounts view currently does.

Hello
@Pgher
,
Thank you for reaching out to the Quicken Community.
To request this feature to be added in the future, what you can do is
create an idea post
. This way other users who have the same or a similar request can vote on your idea.
Our Development and Product teams frequently use our idea posts in order to improve Quicken and implement new features requested by customers.
I hope this helps!

One way you can see where a security is held is to customize a Portfolio view so it includes just the security of interest, then group it by Accounts. You can also expand that view to see the individual lots.
