Online services sometimes mistakes Credit Cards for Savings accounts
I'm trying to link my credit cards to Quicken, and I've run into a problem with two different cards at different institutions where Quicken insists that the credit card account must be linked to a "Savings" account, and won't let me select the correct account. I tried to get support on this, and was told that it is the financial institution's problem. I'm skeptical about that response now since it is happening at Chase and at Synchrony Bank, and for chase one card works while one doesn't. This also has been reported by other users here earlier this year, with no solution offered in either case.
It sounds like something changed this year with the way Quicken identifies account types, and the result is that certain credit cards cannot be linked. Please help fix this.

Hello @brs,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community and telling us about this issue. I'm sorry to hear you're running into this problem. When did this issue first start? Which version of Quicken were you using when it started? Did you do any of the troubleshooting in the threads you linked? If so, which troubleshooting have you already done? Did you happen to have the ticket number from when you contacted support?
Thank you.
Quicken Kristina
