This has been going on for over two months and I even tried to reconnect to them.

This is what I get all the time:

An unexpected error occurred.

Please try again later.

Details:
REMOTE_UPDATE_IN_PROGRESS

I even reported the problems and it has made no difference.

    Hello @winslow85615,

Pentagon Federal Credit Union updated their security, and as a result, is blocking our connection.  They are working with our aggregation partners to re-establish a connection, however, there is no current ETA. You can follow this link where you can bookmark the alert for any further updates.

Which connection method are you currently using with PenFed? You can see the connection method by navigating to Settings > Downloads > Connection Type.

    Thanks!

The only option that I can use is "Quick Connect" and thank you for the update.

    Hello @winslow85615,

There is one more step that you can attempt to bring in your Pentagon Federal Credit Union transactions. I suggest navigating to PFCU's website to see if they offer the option to download a QFX file. If so, you can then import the transactions into Quicken for the time being until this issue has been resolved and the connection unblocked.

This thread is a Windows thread and I know you are working with Mac, however, there are instructions on how to download the QFX file directly from the website which might be of assistance to you.

    I hope this helps!

I tried the thread and it gives me download options for the credit card and loan. I tried the loan information but it gave me this when I tried to open the "QIF" file. I do really want to thank you for all the help you have been giving me.

    Hello @winslow85615,

I am more than happy to help troubleshoot!

Have you attempted to open the QFX after downloading and before importing to confirm that it does include information and that information is correct?

    Thanks!

Yes I did and when I try to open it gives me what I posted above. Even with quicken closed it will automatically open back up and try to import the file.

    Hello @winslow85615,

I apologize for the miscommunication. A QIF file is not compatible with Quicken Classis, you will need to download a QFX file from Pentagon Federal's website.

I hope this clears things up!

They only have the QIF Format and the CSV which is for excel.

I was able to download QFX transaction via PenFed transaction download page, however, note that for credit cards, the transaction signs are REVERSED!

I've created an urgent feature request asking quicken to add a "reverse" transaction checkbox to the QFX file import dialog

    please upvote this feature request.
