Strange error message during updating.
Win 11, Q R57.16
During the past several program updates I get a message : UPDATELCONS has stopped working.
I click the close button and the Quicken shows UPDATE SUCCESSFUL screen.
Why am I getting this apparently false message?

Hello @DRMick,
If you don’t mind, could you please provide a screenshot of the error message you described receiving? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments. Please remember to redact any personal information as needed.
Thanks!

this isn’t the first time this has been reported. For some reason for some people the update icons program crashes. To what this program is, a while back they updated the icons in a change in branding of Quicken and Simplifi. As part of that the next update included this program that evidently was supposed to update icons. And for some reason for some people even though it seems like it has done this job it crashes, and Windows reports the message you see. And because quicken updates are accumulative at same program keeps getting run for every update.
