Like my Quicken for Mac subscription, does LifeHub offer an option to store the database only on your local drive and not expose the data at rest to the internet?
Hello @chrizmonj,
Unfortunately, this feature is unavailable for LifeHub and I am not sure it would be offered in the future. The purpose of LifeHub is to have a secure, safe spot for your life documents to reside which you will still be able to access in any event that could occur. You can read more here.
LifeHub is built with Quicken’s 256-bit encryption & multi-factor authentication to help keep your info safe from fire, flood, corrupted files, hackers, and more.
I hope this clears things up!
Quicken Jasmine,
Thank you for the answer. That confirms my worry. With a honeypot this sweet, it is difficult to imagine that some of the world's most talented hackers aren't going to target my data. I'll keep tabs on the product to see if you will offer those of us who are more conservative the option to keep our data at rest "offline".
Thank you for your reply,
While we don't currently have an offline only version of Quicken LifeHub, there are a couple Idea posts asking for something similar:
Please add your vote if either of these line up with what you'd like to see. If neither one is quite what you're looking for, then please consider creating a new Idea post. For directions on doing that, please view the post linked below:
Ideas that get enough votes may be implemented in the future!
