Pending transactions

My checking account pending transactions are not downloading into my register but they are included in my online balance, which is what Quicken uses in reconciliation. I started using automatic download about a month ago after entering transactions manually for a couple of years.
I see there is a setting in Windows version to include pending transactions in downloads but I can't find that in Classic for Mac version.

Hello @Brian Brady,

Could you please provide the name of the financial institution that you are seeing this issue with?

Also, the "Include Pending Transactions" feature is exclusive to Windows, and is not available in Mac which is why you are not able to find this setting in the Mac program.

The pending transactions feature is not supported in Quicken for Mac. You mentioned that the pending transactions are reflecting in the account balance, even though the transactions are not able to download into your Quicken? Do you currently have that account set to display Today's Balance, the Projected Balance, or the Online Balance?

Hello @Quicken Kristina Where do I find that setting in Quicken for Mac? These are the only display setting I am seeing in my account settings.

If you change it from Today's Balance to Online Balance, does it show the correct amount, or does that balance still include pending transactions?

Hello @Quicken Kristina and @jacobs. Thanks again for your support and help. It was helpful to change the view Online Balance and it does in fact match my bank balance. However, the pending transactions are still not downloading. So maybe it's an issue with my banking institution.

I'm glad to hear that the Online Balance is reflecting correctly.

Pending transactions should not download into Quicken for Mac; the feature isn't supported. If you want to see pending transactions in Quicken for Mac, you can manually enter those transactions (then match them to the downloaded transactions once they post, if they don't automatically match).
