    HELLO @E.S.,

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, though we will need some additional information to better assist you further.

When did you first notice this issue started? Is this a recent change, or have you always noticed it was this way?

Additionally, could you let us know where your data file is stored? Is it saved on your local hard drive (C: Drive), or in a cloud-based service (e.g., OneDrive, Dropbox, USB, etc.)?

If possible, could you provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing? This will help us attempt to replicate the issue. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

    Thank you!

@E.S. Thank you for following up and providing the screenshot.

I was able to replicate this issue. However, to be clear, are you only seeing dollar signs in Bills & Income and the Dashboard, or do you see it in other various areas of the program?

The reason I ask is that upon replicating the issue, I also see it on the account sidebar balances—top account categories show Euros, but beside each individual account I see Dollar signs. Additionally, upon opening the registers, the Ending balance also shows a Dollar sign.

Since I was able to replicate the issue, I will be forwarding this issue to the proper channels to have this further investigated. I just want to make sure that what you are seeing in comparison to what I am seeing is aligned and properly documented before escalating it.

Additionally, as part of the escalation process, we request that you please navigate to Help > Report a problem within your Quicken program and submit a problem report with log files and screenshots attached in order to contribute to the investigation.

It would also aid the investigation to include a sanitized file when submitting the problem report. A sanitized file is a data file that removes personally identifiable information so you can comfortably share this file with the Quicken team.

While you will not receive a response through this submission, these reports will help our teams in further investigating the issue. The more problem reports we receive, the better.

We apologize for any inconvenience in the meantime! Thank you.

    @E.S. and @Quicken Anja

What is your Windows currency setting? Perhaps Quicken is using its own currency setting, the Windows setting, and hard coded dollar signs and that could account for the differences you are seeing. [edited to include hard coded]

    I concur with @E.S.

The Bills & Income tab's Bills, Income & Transfers view appears to use a hard-coded $-sign when showing Amounts.
I have a couple of Scheduled Reminders myself which reside in Euro-currency accounts, yet the amount shown in the view puts a $-sign in front of the amount instead of €
    For example,

This transaction pays 10,00€ (ten Euros) from a German bank account, in Euros. It should be shown in the view above as €10.00 in both fields, Amount and Last Payment.

Instead of a hard-coded $-sign, the transaction's actual currency should be shown.

This has been reported previously in this archived discussion, but there never was a result.
