    Wells Fargo transaction downloads, since that last Quicken update, have not happened correctly for me. Either it shows no transactions or it just shows "waiting".

    I took the liberty of reviewing your account here internally, but I am not seeing any internal errors.

    If you don't mind, could you please provide a screenshot of what you are seeing? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

    I am not experiencing any issues downloading transactions from Wells Fargo Bank, so it's not a systemic Quicken issue. Have you tried Resetting that account?

    I have had issues connecting with Wells Fargo for a few days now. I key in my credentials, and it says "We've encountered an error (It's not your fault)

    Mentions my user ID and Password. I even updated my password and same error. I have been using Wells Fargo for 6 months with no issues, only happened a few days ago after attempting to try the Web/Mobile option and it messed up my register. [Edited - Language]

    That error message is fairly typical when trying to connect to Wells Fargo via Direct Connect. Did you navigate to the wellsfargo.com/fmssetup URL that it provides? Typically, they need you to go through an authorization on their website, then you would be able to link up your account in your Quicken file.

    Wells Fargo and Quicken have been having download issues for a while. If you are using direct connect, try changing your routing number to 122000247 to download transactions and then the proper routing number listed on the Wells website to send checks. Both Wells and Quicken help point to each other as the problem.

    I'm not experiencing any issue using Direct Connect to access Wells Fargo. I suggest that you try Resetting the account.

    i'm having the exact same problem setting up WF on quicken for windows for my parents.

    bloody frustrating.
