I've tried the "V" option at the top, does not fix. Please advise. Quicken classic starter R60.20

Go to View > Tabs to show. If the tabs that are missing are not checked, check them.

Does this resolve the issue for you?

bills and income and Planning I actually figured out a different way to add to my home page as the "classic view" seems to have changed.

I'm glad you found that you can have these added to your Home tab. I actually have Bills & Income added to my Home tab because I like how it is laid out it there and it's functionality there better than on the Bills & Income tab.

But I can assure you that the software has not removed the Bills & Income and Planning tabs. This is true with both the Standard and Classic menus. So you should still be able to see them.

Above I had suggested looking at Tabs to Show in the View menu to see if the tabs you want are checked and you did not see the tabs listed. Did you perhaps look at Show Tabs instead of Tabs to Show? Would you please check, again, and let us know whether or not you are seeing what is highlighted in yellow in the following picture?

(FYI: Show Tabs is only in the View menu when Classic Menus is selected. It is not present in the View menu when Standard Menus is selected. I use Standard Menus so it did not occur to me to be more specific about making sure to click on Tabs to Show instead of on Show Tabs.)

Ok, I can't take a picture of my "view" screen without sending personal info, but here is what I see under that tab: use large font, use pop up registers, show toolbar, customize toolbar, account bar, show quicken setup, show to do bar and Fullscreen. I've tried all of them.

Please save images to files of file type PNG or JPG only. They're easier to work with than PDF files.

Please don't forget to edit the captured image and crop or black out personal information before you post it to the discussion.

So, Tabs to Show doesn't even appear as a View menu item? That is odd and should not be.

Did this just start after you updated to R60.20?

Have you closed Quicken since updating to R60.20? (I have to ask because some people keep Quicken open all the time and never shut it down. Sometimes when a program version is updated the process does not complete properly without first closing and reopening it.)

Have you tries rebooting your computer?

Sometimes updating the version of Quicken does not properly complete causing performance and view issues with the program. This seems to be more of an issue when allowing Quicken to automatically update the version. When this happens the issue(s) can often be resolved by manually downloading the Manual Patch file for R60.20 and installing it, again. You can downloading that file from https://www.quicken.com/support/update-and-patch-20182019-release-quicken-windows-subscription-product/ .

I don’t believe Starter edition has ability to select views. You only get a subset of views and no ability to show/hide views.

Starter version has all kinds of restrictions (on reason the SuperUsers don't recommend using it), and this is one of them. You have no control over the views shown. You can't hide them, and you don't get the same ones that are available in Deluxe and above. For instance, you don't have support for investment accounts or loan accounts.

It's fine. I fixed the screen to my liking. I know these tabs were there in the past.

I fired up an expired Starter license to see what it has:

Looking at yours it looks like the tabs are completely turned off.

    This icon hides/shows the tabs.

@MissyErnie by chance did you previously have a higher edition, like Deluxe or Premier?

No I didn't have a higher version. When I click on the upside down V it doesn't change anything. Maybe when I have time I should try resetting to default?
