Tracking Option Trading in QMac

Hello, I have been searching for awhile for articles / threads that describe how to track option trading in QMac but haven't really found anything useful.
Of course, I could call the Quicken hotline but based on past experience I believe I probably would be better off to find someone from the Quicken community (for a subject like option trading) who already is doing this & is willing to share his/hers experiences / tricks?
Some of the trades are quite complex (i.e. many moving parts). I wonder how you track this in QMac (i.e. tie all the pieces together) to estimate gains/losses and taxes for the complete trade?
I have the feeling that downloading alone isn't going to do it (my downloads for Fidelity and Schwab look quite different - especially, Schwab doesn't work w/o manual manipulation). So far I do most of complete trade tracking in an Excel spreadsheet (trying to eliminate that).
Please, if you do option trading and track it in QMac would you mind to share how you do this for a few scenarios?

Hello @t34hansen,
Unfortunately, Quicken for Mac does not have a built-in way to do options trading. There is currently an Idea requesting that functionality be added, and it's currently under consideration. Please add your vote and a comment if it's something you'd like to see added in the future!
Here is one suggested work-around mentioned in the Idea thread:
I hope this helps!

Thanks @Quicken Kristina … but I'm looking for features that allows me to track, compute performance and taxes for option trading (not track vesting of my ISOs, NSOs etc)… if you have a workaround for that I'd like to know?

Thank you for your reply,
I'm not aware of any work arounds for tracking/computing performance and taxes for options trading. There is this older discussion on the Quicken for Windows side, indicating people have mostly been using outside tools, such as spreadsheets or more tax-specific software:
Depending on how you track the options in your Quicken, you may be able to see some performance data on the portfolio tab for your investment account(s).
Thank you!
