Is there a way to replace the blank category of paycheck transaction?

All my paycheck taxes have blank categories and I would like to change them to an expense category like Federal Tax, State Tax, Social Security, Medicare, etc.  I tried using the Find/Replace tool but haven't figured out how to find the split transactions.  I guess I setup the Paycheck tool wrong by not setting the categories from the beginning.

Find/Replace should work, make sure the Find Matches within Splits box is checked. The split lines will have Memos like Federal Tax. so you should be able to search on that.

Also you can make more complex searches with AND an OR by using the + sign on the search line., then checking just the transactions you want to change.

Be very careful with the Find/Replace, there is no Undo! Back up your data file first, in case something goes wrong.
