Why hasn't Quicken added the 1099-NEC form yet. Is it really that difficult or do they just not care

Disappointed that @Quicken still hasn't added 1099-NEC support in their Business and Personal software after 3+ years. Having to manually tease apart income into seperate buckets is time consuming and error prone. Why can't Quicken allow me to categorize data so that it flows smoothly into Scedule C. Tax time shouldn't be this complicated.

    Hello @Quick M,

I understand your frustration with the lack of 1099-NEC support in Quicken’s Business & Personal software.

I suggest creating an Idea Post to formally request this feature, as it allows other users who share your concern to vote on it. Our Development and Product teams actively review these posts to improve Quicken and implement customer-requested features.

We appreciate your feedback, and I’ll also pass this along to the appropriate teams. Let us know if you have any other questions!

@Quick M While the 1099-NEC isn't yet a form in Q, there's nothing that prevents you from using that form to create 1099-NEC categories in your Category list … so that, at least, Q can still capture the data for you.

THEN, if/when they ever add that form, you'd just need to associate your custom categories with the appropriate lines on the form … which you'd need to do even if that form was already provided.
