Single Bank Account Reconciliation

I was going to reconcile a bank account, as usual, that I've done every month for years. I have several accounts that I reconcile monthly.

However, this month, I am unable to reconcile one of the accounts. When I start the reconciliation process, it does not show all the transactions on the bank statement, yet they are all listed on my Quicken account. I tried checking the settings, but to no avail.

Thoughts, questions??

Thanks!!

    Hello @Jerry C.,

Thank you for reaching out with this issue. To help troubleshoot, please provide more information. Is this happening in an account you update manually, or in a connected account? If it is connected, do you reconcile against the online balance or the statement balance?

If all of the transactions are listed in the Quicken register, but you're not seeing them in the reconcile window, the first thing I'd check is the date range. If the transactions fall outside the date range for the reconcile, they will not reflect in the reconcile window.

I look forward to your response!

    Hi,

Thanks for your response. I reconcile this account manually-monthly against the bank statement. I double checked the date range in the opening window of the reconciliation process and it matches the bank statement dates.

When you look at the account in Q, are those transactions that appear on the paper statement, but not in Q's reconciliation window, already marked, in the CLR column as "R"?

That would keep them from appearing in the Reconciliation dialog.

Nothing shows up in the cleared column for the current transactions. There are a few current transactions that are showing up in the reconciliation statement, but the rest are not showing up for recon at all.

    Thank you for your reply,

It would be helpful if you post screenshots of what you're seeing, both in your register and in the reconcile window. If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

If you are not comfortable posting screenshots in this discussion, then I'd recommend contacting Quicken Support directly for further assistance since they have access to tools we can't access on the Community, and they're able to escalate the issue if needed. The Quicken Support phone number can be found through this link here. Phone support is available from 5:00 am PT to 5:00 pm PT, Monday through Friday.

    Thank you!
