@jacknpaula` This is primarily a user to user forum.
The best way to get the attention of the programmers for issues like this is to add your vote by going to the first post in this discussion and clicking on the little up arrow below the vote count. When you have voted, the count will increase and the arrow will turn grey. If the count goes down, it means you have already voted. Click again to restore your vote.
As of this morning this Idea has 47 votes and it takes about 50 for them to consider requests like this.
Also note that Quicken Inc was spun off from Intuit several years ago.

Please, please get rid of this popup. I don't know how this ever got through Usability Testing. It is annoying and unnecessary.

It's now got my vote and that pushed the total to that "magical" 50. Hopefully this will be enough for the Quicken Dev Team to get it put into their development plan soon.

The status of this Idea has been changed to Under Consideration as it has reached enough votes and has been submitted to our Product and Development team for further review.
Thank you!

Thank Goodness!!! Added my vote anyway so they know the extent of the frustration.
Cheers

Note that some people are reporting that they have deselected the check box, but it comes back again checked.
This adds to the problems of having this "feature".

Feedback: Register Workflow Disruption in R64.31 (Canadian Edition)
Issue:
Recent updates (R64.23 onward) introduced a popup during spending register entry:
“Save this to Memorized Payee List” — pre-checked and interruptive.Impact:
- Breaks long-standing keyboard-driven workflows (Tab / Shift-Tab / Enter).
- Forces mouse interaction, disrupting transaction flow.
- Adds cognitive load for each entry, especially when memorization is not desired.
- Undermines user control over payee list hygiene and QuickFill behavior.
Request:
- Add a Preference toggle to disable this popup entirely.
- Or allow users to default the checkbox to unchecked and suppress the dialog.
- Restore the prior behavior where memorization was silent and governed by existing settings.
Context:
I’ve used Quicken for years and rely on efficient, low-friction register entry. This change feels regressive and user-hostile for power users. Please prioritize workflow consistency and configurability.3 -
Please get rid of this most annoying feature. It blocks the Category field so I can’t input a category when I”m entering transactions.

Yes, please. This would help.
