Reported the problem again earlier today.

I've been experiencing the same problem. Called PayPal Credit and Quicken, and they confirmed that the connection method was changed (as others have reported); however, they said that they couldn't help.
Anyway, I sent in my logs. Thanks for following up. Hope it gets resolved soon.1 -
Been having this issue for a while, no matter what I do it remains. Also continuing issues with online billers and other integrations with financial institutions. Have been on with support multiple times, there is an obvious bug in these integrations. I am always told "It's being worked" but I never see amy updates or resolution.

Me, too. Thanks for posting this. Maybe it'll help get some attention to this problem. I wonder if the Quicken-Intuit-PayPal entity is paying any attention.

They know. I was able to confirm that a while ago. The issue is will both organizations actually resolve it. I am about ready to drop PayPal Credit over it and Quicken is not much further. If I can't have all my info in one place, that removes a great part of what I use Quicken for!

Yeah, I feel exactly the same way.

I have a paypal cash account that connects with just "paypal". My PP Mastercard connects with "Paypal Credit, Mastercard & Crypto", which used to also connect the PP Credit account. But when I got an actual credit card for PayPal Credit, it will no longer connect PP Credit, still gets the Mastercard account. All 3 are still showing up using their original logins when I pull them up on the PC. Maybe the problem is the card manager bank, I think Synchrony now. I have noticed that a lot of banks are using one login for all cards it services. It could be that. I am doing it by hand but would love an auto update again.

Yes, join the club. Been broke for a while. [Removed-Speculation]

FI suspect it's not just coincidence that this started (this time) at the same time that PayPal "upgraded" our credit accounts.

Now I am getting this error:
Quicken can't find any accounts to add. We were unable to identify any accounts to add. This could be because there aren't any accounts associated with this login or because your ACCOUNTS AREN'T SUPPORTED BY QUICKEN AT THIS TIME. (Caps added for emphasis)So are they still working on it or did they just give up? There is also no longer a send report to quicken button. Just Start over or try again.

I have been having the same issues for some time - not sure really how far back the issue started. I just tried reconnecting the account again and get the same error message as referenced above. I did also just finish sending problem report to Quicken.
This has been going on long enough for Quicken and PayPal to get this figured out.1 -

Quicken Alyssa,
This sounds like it has been a problem going on for a while. I, too, am having the same issues. I also submitted a ticket for this problem. How can I go about keeping track of the progress of this problem?
1 -
It has been going on for MONTHS with no update from either Quicken OR PayPal. I am seeing more and more institutions not supporting the Quicken transaction downloads, especially Synchrony bank, where PayPal moved their credit accounts.

I've been using Quicken for 35 years. Hoping they get this fixed.

I’m extremely frustrated that Quicken and PayPal have still not resolved the ongoing connectivity problem between their systems. This is no longer a minor inconvenience — it’s creating real financial exposure.
Because transactions are not downloading, I had two fraudulent charges on my new PayPal MasterCard that I didn’t catch right away. This is exactly why reliable connectivity is critical. Quicken promotes automatic transaction downloads as a core feature, yet this issue has been dragging on far too long with no meaningful updates or a timeline for a fix.
This needs to be treated as a high-priority problem by Quicken management. What else can we do as users to escalate this? Who specifically within Quicken should be made aware that this is causing financial risk for customers? The silence and lack of progress are unacceptable.

I called Quicken support and pointed them to this community thread and requested that he do what he can to escalate getting this problem resolved.

Good luck. Quicken acts like this is a new issue every time I try to get support. I am decreasing my use of PayPal Credit because of it and may not renew Quicken. [Removed-Disruptive]

@Quicken Alyssa - IT WORKED!!! I chose my existing Paypal Credit account, edited it, chose to "set up connection" and it asked for email and password to "PayPay Credit, MasterCard, and Crypto". It took a little bit then came back with screen to add/match to existing Quicken account and I of course chose to link to the existing one; it then proceeded to sync and match transactions for past 764 days.
What changed where???1
