    I was able to connect to Paypal Credit MC for the first time in months as well.

    Still not working on my end using either "Set up now" or "Add Account". 😞

    JohnFM - are you sure you got the correct transactions? I connected mine in the method you indicated and the transactions downloaded were for my Paypal MC which was already working.

    I was able to go through the connection process to Paypal Credit but I have transactions from Nov 13 & Nov 17th that have still not downloaded.

    I'm still unable to connect via "PayPal Credit, Mastercard and Crypto." It still gives me no opportunity to authorize accounts. It takes me straight to the account login screen and returns error CC-503: "Oops. Did you mistype your login?" (The answer in "no.") Note that logging in via "PayPal" works fine, but accesses only the checking account — not the credit accounts. I've sent logfiles to support again.

    For the first time in months, I was able to force it through adding PayPal Credit after trying two multi-factor authentication codes. It took it the second time right after the code changed in my authenticator. Whether it does anything going forward is anyones guess. It needs to update charges and payments before I can say it is working.

    Hello All,

    Thank you for the updates!

    @John Rocke,

    Have transactions after that date been downloaded? If so, you may need to manually enter those two days of transactions. However, if it's not an isolated event, we may need to take a closer look at it.

    @Timothy A Wagner,

    Happy to hear we are making progress! Were there posted transactions in the account that have not shown up in Quicken? Keep us posted.

    @SoopaNtz,

    Thank you for sending over the logs.

    I will be updating the ticket with the information you all have provided.

    Today I had 2 new transactions in my Paypal Mastercard account that downloaded to BOTH my Paypal Mastercard and Paypal Credit accounts in Quicken. So the Paypal Credit connection is still not working correctly.

    The two accounts in Quicken were properly identified when I linked them, so the issue is not a mistake on my end.

    I just disconnected both Paypal accounts and reconnected them. Screenshot below of when I reconnected them. The same account #'s link to the same accounts in Quicken as they did before. I will report back when I have new transactions (which is not that often for these accounts for me).

    @SoopaNtz,

    Thank you for following up.

    After investigating further, we have confirmed you are receiving a valid login error - it appears, from our end, that the credentials are invalid for these accounts.

    To resolve this issue:

    • Log in to the bank's website and attempt to access your account from there.
    • If you are able to log in, please return to Quicken and update your credentials.
    • If the problem continues, please change your password on the bank's website and try connecting in Quicken again.
    • If it persists afterward, please provide new logs by going to Help>Report a problem>Send to Quicken.

    Let me know how it goes!

    Alyssa, thanks for the suggestions. (Note that I have always been able to use a web browser and log in to my accounts that way. Nevertheless, I changed my password, as suggested, and tried again to access my accounts through Quicken. Same results as before: I can connect using "PayPal," and access my PayPal checking account, but I cannot connect using "PayPal Credit, Mastercard, and Crypto." As before, there is no opportunity to connect to the bank and authorize the accounts. As before, Quicken returns error CC-503 "Oops. Did you mistype your login?" I've sent the log files again, as you requested.

    Thanks for anything you can do to help with this.

    Alyssa,

    I had another purchase and a credit transaction on my Paypal Mastercard account that downloaded to BOTH my Paypal Credit and Paypal Mastercard accounts this morning. So something is still wrong, at least for those of us with both types of Paypal accounts.

    This problem with not being able to connect to PayPal Credit with Quicken would not be so bad if we could manually download PayPal Credit transactions to Quicken. (You can do this wi5t6h almost any other bank.) One can download PayPal transactions only as a .cvs file. Quicken can normally import a .cvs file, but reports that the PayPal file is incorrectly formatted. What a pain!

    I wonder if there's any way to go directly to Synchrony Bank to download the PayPal Credit and MasterCard accounts? I don't think PayPal has had their act together since having Synchrony underwrite their credit accounts.

    Hey! I just noticed that my posts appear with "Quicken Mac Subscription Member" after my name. What gives? I've always used Windows!

    I have the paypal/synchrony cc account in Quicken - have had for a long time; I used to be able to "Export" from the credit card page, and then it would import into Quicken. Now, nothing works. I deactivated the online connection and attempted to reactivate, and now nothing works. The error I get is that there is something in Quicken that needs to be installed from a CD. Let me know if this is not the forum for this question…

    PayPal always had issues downloading the PayPal and PayPal Credit transactions. I think all the Synchrony Bank downloads are pretty much the same way.
    Now the transaction download option is a file, instead of direct download into Quicken. And, you can't even import the file into Quicken after downloading.

    Disconnect and wait for a fix.

    I am able to connect to PayPal Credit Card, but now it is not downloading any transactions. Yikes! And FYI, I have several other Synchrony accounts and have had no problem downloading them into Quicken. Only PayPal has been a continuous problem. Quicken: Please fix this!!

    Same here. Last week or so it finally connected and now just doesn't download anything. [Removed-Rant]

    Of course I don't know for sure, but I'm starting to believe the problem lies primarily with PayPal, not Quicken.It's probably not just a coincidence that the problems cropped up at about the same time PayPal "upgraded" their website and accounts. PayPal needs to communicate accurate information to Quicken and Intuit before they can act.

    @Quicken Alyssa I tried the Adding a new account wizard today and was able to link my PayPal Credit Card account, so it seems to be working now. Thank you for your diligence and ongoing support help on this issue!!!

    I was able to add it too. It will not download any new transactions however and today I am back to the CC-503 error again. It is still broke.

    Hello All,

    Thank you all for adding to this discussion and updating us as things progress.

    I am happy to hear that some of you are now able to get connected, though it is unfortunate that some are still experiencing errors, not having any transactions download, or having them download into two accounts.

    Our teams are still investigating and working to resolve this issue. We will notify you when we have an update.

    Thank you.

    Alyssa,

    Please note that the people who have successfully "connected" are still reporting that no downloads are taking place. I still am seeing Paypal Mastercard transactions are downloading to Paypal Credit linked account. So Paypal Credit transactions are not successfully downloading for anyone it seems.
