What does this have to do with Quicken? Do you need help in creating the budget? Have you looked into "Savings Goals"?

New account, 2 posts, neither having anything to do with Quicken. I’d say it’s likely a failed attempt at spamming.

Note that this is the Water Cooler section, where posts do not necessarily have to be about Quicken.

Their other post was a response to @Quicken Jasmine in this same section, on a similar topic

I'd agree that it looks like spam, since the OP isn't running Q, per profile.

Guys, what do these have to do with Quicken?

If you ask me @smithjn has posted a valid question in the right category on this forum.

EDIT just saw that @Jim_Harman posted the same, sorry for the repeat, but I don't see any spamming here. What would the purpose be?

As for a suggest of what a family on a budget can do, I would say find a national or state park near you and go there.

Second EDIT. I see that @smithjn found the "Best Bucket List Travel Destinations" and posted there, so I think it is perfectly clear that the intent wasn't spam. Lighten up people.

@Chris_QPW But if the OP isn't running Q, as per the profile, then it IS spam, IMNSHO.

I think this is not a forum where someone would create an account just to talk about vacations. Also, posting in old threads (like the one they chose from June of last year) is a classic spammer tactic, it’s why so many forums lock inactive threads.

OK. I will grant you that maybe this is spam, but I fail to see the purpose.

Maybe that is my "logical mind" thinking that people have purposes for doing things, when they don't. 😁

Oh well, spam or not. I'm not going to get my underwear in a wad over this post, but to each his own. Since I'm a Vet, I get in all the State Parks here FREE. So, IF your state offers this benefit; join the service and visit your State Parks FREE ?!? 🤔🤣
