When utilizing Bill and Income Reminders, why do the categories and/or amounts of splits change?

I am using Quicken Classic (Ver: R64.30) on a Windows 11 laptop. Data files are stored on my laptop locally. I always insure that I sync each time I exit my Q. My wife uses her Windows 11 laptop to enter transactions periodically with Quicken for the web. I find that my Income Reminders (monthly paycheck splits) change the categories in the splits so the dollar amount is now going to the incorrect category. I have changed them back to the correct sequence but it continues to happen. Seems to have started when I moved from my old Quicken to the subscription Q in January 2025.

    Hello @erbfour,

Thanks for reaching out and for sharing those details.

To help us better understand what’s happening and avoid repeating any troubleshooting steps you may have already tried, could you please let us know what, if any, troubleshooting you’ve attempted so far?

It would also be very helpful if you could provide a screenshot of one of the affected reminders showing how the split categories or amounts have changed. (Please make sure to blur or omit any sensitive information, such as account names or personal details.) If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

Once we have that information, we’ll be able to investigate further and determine next steps.

    Thank you!
