PNC support advised me on11/11 to wait until Monday & try again. Monday, really?

Like some above, after the PNC update I had not downloads from PNC Bank. I just spoke to PNC and it is important if you use PNC Bank Bill Pay to connect via Direct Connect Method. I briefly connected via Express Connect and you lose all your Payees… Once connecting via Direct Connect I was able to see payees and can download transactions. Unfortunately, I am still unable to send payments at this time. Payments are "ready to send" but don't send.

For those who don't want to connect/reconnect (takes a while to deactivate service in my case!), a better option is to do the old way and import transactions from PNC via QXF file import feature.

As of 11/12/25, 8pm, after reauthorizing earlier in the day, direct connect seemed to jump to life. Downloads of transactions. However, there seemed to be DUPLICATE recurring transactions that were deleted from my account months ago suddenly appeared. Five separate duplicate recurring payments appeared. Manually deleted and PNC seemed to accept the deletions. Made a test payment to Amex and upon upload, a lightning bolt and check number appeared.
So far it seems other than duplicate recurring payments ($4000+ worth) that has to be carefully followed, Direct connect seems to be rumbling back to life. (fingers crossed)
REMEMBER TO VALIDATE AND REPAIR YOUR FILE FREQUENTLY! And KEEP doing it until the report comes up CLEAN! It WILL help.

My PNC Bank checking account "cleared" transactions are still NOT Downloading into Quicken. I have to manually clear them in Quicken when comparing them to PNC Banks web-site.

So after many transfer at PNC, was finally transfered to the person who was assigned my case and of course not available so I had to leave a message. Please note that if your trying to call PNC Tier 3 there is a person there so sick you can't understand her, got her 2 times. Called Quicken and am basically just being told they are working on the issue, and send them logs directly. We will see.

Before I attempt to Disconnect/Reconnect, What other credentials do I need to have in front of me other than my PNC ATM pin? Can others confirm that the PNC ATM Pin is to be used as the password?

You need your SSN AND the unique pin assigned by PNC for Direct Connect. It is not your ATM PIN. I am not sure if it "could" be the same as your ATM PIN…. but it is a different PIN.

11/13 10:00ET - Worked the last two days. Today, no transactions are downloaded. There should be 3 transactions that cleared/posted based on what I see in my PNC Online account. Anyone else?

I don't know about the rest of you but I feel that waiting 18 days for a major bank to not rectify our issue with a major software company is now not acceptable. This should be a much higher priority seeing as that so many people are affected by this issue. Yes some have had their issue resolved, but wonder how many are still having this issue like the rest of us posting in this forum. What can we do to make them speed up this? I did some research we can file a complaint with www.helpwithmybank.gov. Will that speed it up in getting resolved doubt it. I think what is upsetting me the most is Quicken is the only one communicating with us and it isn't even their problem. Has anyone heard a peep from PNC besides those of us who may have gotten a phone call from our initial ticket. In my case it didn't resolve my issue and the promised phone call I was supposed to get back never happened and I still have not received a call back from the message I left. Would national or local news be interested in this? After all they are the 6th largest bank in the US and have locations in 27 states and DC. I think for all of us on here posting we need to join together and some how be the voice for everyone and do something about this instead of waiting and deactivating and reactivating our accounts to see if they fixed our issues. What is everyone's opinion?

The 1 Direct connect account I have that was working didn't download a transaction that cleared yesterday, but not sure if the Holiday Tuesday is messing that up. I downloaded this morning and got a transaction from 11/10 but not 1 from 11/12.

Does anyone know if payments set up to pay at a future date through direct connect will actually pay? I have 4 payments that are supposed to pay between 11/13 and 11/28 that were sent before all of this happened.

I ended up setting up a new web connect connection and migrated my transactions into the new account connection via a QIF file. When I downloaded the latest transactions, the balance was off by thousands of dollars. I had to make a balance adjustment bigger than what I make in a year (I have been using direct connect since 1998). Still holding out hope that direct connect will be fixed and I can go back to using the account that uses direct connect. What a disaster.

Anything that I had set up that infact got the lightning bolt and check/payment number (confirming that it was successfully sent) did pay for me. Some were set up as late as 11/1.

I disconnected and reconnected yesterday, no joy. So I contacted Quicken and today I am able to get transactions starting 11/11. However, NO transactions were download between 10/24 and 11/11. I tried disconnect and reconnect again, still no transactions between those dates.

This worked for me today. I had previously missed the step about going into the Advanced Options and selecting Direct Connect since other instructions I had did not mention that step.

THIS IS NUTS!!! Now it download the 3 transactions AND about 10 DUPLICATED TRANSACTIONS ALREADY DOWNLOADED AND CLEARED. I removed them and NOW I CAN NOT RECONCILE! I am off balance by $5800 +-. WTH!!!! I Fully expect to see compensation paid to all of us for this nightmare.

Same thing just happened to me. I was able to download transactions but the online balance is off by thousands. Everything is messed up now.

As a followup, the ONLINE BALANCE IS NO LONGER CORRECT EITHER. I am comparing to PNC Online Banking. The Availalbe balance at PNC IS CORRECT!! and all the transactions are correct. IT IS JUST QUICKEN that is screwed up. FIX IT NOW!!!

YEP! We all better be compensated for this total nightmare. These are TWO MAJOR Institutions that clearly need a lot of technical help.

I EVEN tried to go to a backup from yesterday…LOL.. that was worse. it downloaded transcations from 2024. Yes, 2024 in accounts I havnet used in that long. What.A.Nightmare.
I think tomorrow I will begin to look at alternatives. This after DECADES of using Quicken. Probably the late 80s or early 90s. Well, might need to reevaluate now.
