Dark Mode - Only been asking 25 years

I still can't believe there is still not a dark mode after all of this time. Some of us are old now and need dark mode to relieve eye strain and see these miserably small fonts. / contrasts. I know someone has been pushing this off forever but it's time. Put in Dark Mode. Work on it and it will take maybe 2 weeks effort after testing. OR give us a way to chose colors like a style sheet. background color for program and cells, Font size / color for text, Graphs that work either way.. Use AI it will write it for you. Lets do this. You're killing me here!!!

Clearly you have no idea what the problem is. Old APIs have no "central controls" of such things. To do this the developers would have to go to all the different windows and dialogs and put in code to change each of these. What's more Quicken has many different GUI APIs in it like modern, old, and web ones that all work differently.

This has been talked about extensively in the following thread. And at one time it was set as "planned" for years, until it was finally marked as to difficult to do. Clearly the developer tried and found it was too hard.

And AI isn't a magic bullet. You can't just tell it "rewrite this whole program so that it has a dark mode" It can help, but still, this would be a very expensive, time consuming project.
