I am running into difficulty with the Spending Report and wonder if this is a bug or something I can fix on my side.
I am running Quicken Classic for Windows R68.31, which is I believe the latest version as of this posting.
When I use the Spending By Category report, there is one category hierarchy that is rendered improperly when the report id displayed in the Quicken UI. (When I export to XLSX, it is properly categorized and rendered, and the exported report seems correct.). In addition, if I look at the same data in the Income and Expense by Category Report, it is rendered properly. The mis-rendering seems to happen ONLY in the Spending By Category Report.
And it does not happen for every category. In my case, only a single category is showing this problem.
Here is a sample category tree I am proposing to describe the problem:

Might be hard to tell from my attempt to put it in this place, but SubB2 is displayed in the same horizontal column as the main top-level categories, making it appear to be a top-level category rather than a sub category. When you collapse all the top level categories, SubB2 remains shown, even though it SHOULD be collapsed under CatB.
Please note that this is just a schematic representation of the issue, my actual category tree is much more complex, with 23 top level categories and many many layers keep of subcategory, and no matter what it is always the same one of my top level categories that gets improperly rendered.
But I am assuming there is not data corruption in the category list itself, as these categories are properly exported and are rendered properly in Quicken on different reports, like the Income And Expense By Category report.
