Today's ice breaker is:
  • If you could travel anywhere in the world; where would it be and why?

I'll start:
I have many bucket list travel destinations, but my current and most desired destination right now would be the Philippines. Because I have many family members that live there, I haven't visited since I was 11 years old, and have many fond childhood memories that were made there. I also would love to take my husband and kids with me to meet my extended family and share my wonderful childhood experiences with them.

    Either Ireland or Scotland.  Both countries intrigue me from what I have seen in movies and documentaries.

    My wife and I have  been across Europe twice, once by rental car and once on a river cruise.  The cruise was the absolute best in our lifetimes.  It took us from Amsterdam all the way to Bucharest, Hungary, with daily on-shore adventures to historical and cultural places.  Each evening included on-board dinner and lectures by local folks about the places to be visited the following day. On the eastern end we ventured further into both Romania and Ukraine where we knew some local folks and got the real local flavor before flying back to Amsterdam and home.
