Issues connecting to Barclays Aviator MC account

Quicken is returning a 2FA error, yet my online Barclays account does not offer this security feature. Is anyone else having connection issues. I'm on a Mac subscription.

    Before I can further assist you, I require some more information. What is your connection method with Barclays? You can see the connection method by navigating to Settings > Downloads > Connection Type. Are you receiving this error when attempting to add your accounts or when attempting to download transactions? If you don’t mind, could you please provide a screenshot of the error message you described receiving? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

    Good morning -

    The error started to occur this past Thursday.

    I am using Quicken Connect connection type and it happens when I am trying to download transactions

    Here is the error:

    Hello @kuglera,

    Thank you for providing more information.

    If you haven't already, I suggest you try signing out of your data file completely and then signing back in to refresh the registration token for your Online Connect Services. However, I do recommend that you first save a backup file prior to performing these steps.

    1. Navigate to the Quicken dropdown menu
    2. Sign Out...
    3. Sign back in using your Quicken ID (email) and password 
    4. Follow the prompts to be taken back to your data file after signing in

    Once that is done, see if the issue still persists.

    Good morning -

    Your suggestion did not work. However, what I did afterwards was to disconnect the account and then reconnect and then relink the exisitng account. That worked.

    I started having this same issue with the Barclay's Aviator card about 2 weeks ago or so (cc-592 error). I have reported the error inside of Quicken, and also emailed Barclay's about it. What is strange is that 2 days ago it suddenly worked again and downloaded transactions (i changed nothing), but now it is back to giving me the error again. I tried deactivating the account and re-activating it in Quicken but that did not fix it for me.
