Have not received updates for several weeks — well over a month.

I keep getting "CC-501" error. Anyone know how to resolve this?

    Hello @nybruin,

This error is usually caused on the bank’s end and means that the Quicken server is being blocked from connecting to the account. Typically these errors self-resolve within 24 hours.

If you haven't already, we recommend reviewing this support article for more information.

As stated in the article, if the error persists for more than 24 hours, then you will need to contact Quicken Support directly for further assistance. Our support agents will need to collect and review your log files, and will likely need to file an escalation if they see fit.

I've contacted support and they say they are aware of the issue and don't know when it will resolve.

However this makes no sense b/c Citibank is a huge bank and I don't think this would remain unresolved for so long.

It makes sense if the problem is at Citibank. Quicken users tend to believe the world revolves around them when in reality for most financial institution, they are tiny minority of their users. Depending on the difficulty of the problem and whatever other priorities they have this problem might be "Will get it when we have nothing else important to do.". The other place this is likely to be is an Intuit's servers, and they may have a long line of financial institutions to fix and a limit staff to do it.

But for what is worth one should understand Quicken Inc's role in this. They are a "customer" of a service. They pay Intuit as their aggregator. It is going Intuit and/or the financial institution that are actually doing the work.

What? You believe that because the Citibank downloading of transactions is broken that means that Quicken Inc should provide the programs and every other service they provide for free?

The last time I checked, Quicken (the whole ecosystem) was a whole lot more than one connection to one financial institution.

A subscription is a way to pay for a product/service, it isn't a guarantee that it will be without any problems or even serve your needs.
