Empower QFX download not working
I tried to download transactions from the end of last year and got the message "No data available during the selected period". I don't know if it is because they are doing server maintenance or have made a choice not to provide the service. I will post an update once I talk to customer service. I have been downloading the QFX file for several months without a problem.

For clarification, are you receiving the error message in Quicken or from the financial institution's website?

This is on the Empower website. The solution for another thread for Prudential/Empower Quicken data was to download the QFX file from the Empower website. Now that solution is not working.

Anyone that has this problem should complain to empower. They think it was just me.

Quicken Inc clearly doesn't have any control over what is on Empower's website, people using Empower should be complaining to them.

This thread is a placeholder for people that are having problems using Quicken. Since the original post, I have been able to download the QFX file but another problem I have had with the Empower QFX file is a share balance mismatch. I had to use placeholders for the difference. If anyone else is having this type of problem please comment. apricot333 I will try to speak with Empower about this later today. It is not just you.

@raustin316 I strongly suggest that you don't use placeholders. They will mess up your investment information.
If need be, use Add or Remove shares.

Are you suggesting to copy the change in shares from the placeholder, and delete the placeholder?

apricot333 I did speak to several Empower support reps who were very friendly and finally found out that they are aware of a problem with the QFX data file download but don't have an estimated completion date for the fix.
