Quicken subscription - cancelling (edit)
Share my experience with the latest Quicken. I have been with Quicken since 1995. Last Feb 2024 I cancelled my subscription, as i do everything manually. I did receive a full rebate. Recently I decided to update my Quicken from a backlog of statements from my bank. During my session Quicken offered me the latest download (good will ??) so I did and continued to update my records. When I finished and logged off and logged on again, a window appeared informing me that my subscription has been cancelled. If I wish to download the Quicken data to before my subscription was still in affect, they gave me an option of dates, but I need to "trash" my existing Quicken before I download. WELL, the back dated Quicken was "without any data". Did I loose years of information just because they allowed me to download ???? I guess I panicked and tried to renew my Subscription. Quicken would not accept PayPal nor would they accept my credit card. Friends, be careful.

i I received a notice on June 8, 2024 that my account was being renewed. I did not realize that this was on auto and I went in to try and cancel it and of course it was a Saturday. Therefore, I have been charged for 2024 and I will not be using it. I went in and indicated I do not want it renewed and want to make sure this does not happen again.

I accidentally purchased the US version of Quicken but I live in Canada. I cancelled it the same day but have not received a refund. How to I get refunded?

I have used Quicken over 25 years, logging in all transactions manually. I sign up for the yearly updates but grew tired of the constant updates that I did not want. I canceled the subscription but continue to use the Quicken software (I'm on 17 for iMac now). But every time I open Quicken, I have to go through refusing to resubscribe where only option is to renew or ask again later. This slows down opening my iMac every time. I no longer have a subscription so cannot access how to stop this irritating sales gimic.
