Setting up NJBEST 529

When creating a new account in Quicken classic it asks for the institution however NJBEST 529 is not an option. At the NJBEST login site I do see that they can provide an aggregator URL, username, and password. How then can I create an investment account in quicken that references these credentials and downloads the appropriate entries? Thx!

Sorry, but you cannot. If the financial institution (FI) is not an option in Quicken, then the best you can do at this time is to set it up as an offline manual account and then manually enter the transactions.

Quicken uses a proprietary process for downloading from FIs and they will need to contract with the aggregator (Intuit) to get added to the FIDIR (Financial Institutions Directory) list. Once that is done, then you will be able to download from them into Quicken. If you wish for NJBEST to get added to the FIDIR list you should contact them and request that they add support for Quicken by contracting with Intuit. If they get enough requests from customers then maybe they will develop the business case to justify adding support for Quicken.

Boatnmaniac I believe you helped a user get their portfolio back on track.

Is there a way to overwrite a new portfolio over an existing portfolio?

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. But before digging into that, how does your question relate to @Quixote's inquiry about NJBEST 529? If it does not, please start a new discussion thread and provide more details about what you are asking so it gets appropriate attention.
