Same here. Haven't been able to reconcile my accounts with SchoolsFirst in two days. I have multiple accounts with different logins with SF, and none of them can connect so it's not an incorrect login issue. Bad time of year to have this issue with the holidays….

This has been a recurring problem. It really is tiresome. Why can't Quicken figure it out?

Same here. Two different logons involved. My logins are correct, they are just refused.

I reached out to SFFCU with an FYI that Quicken access had stopped working, and got a pretty unhelpful message (though they did apologize for the problem).

"SchoolsFirst FCU does not support third party apps or software. Since QUICKEN is not a SchoolsFirst FCU product, we cannot guarantee the accounts will be linked or configured.

As many third party apps require data from accounts, this can lead to system delays or pose a security risk to our online banking system which can affect many, if not all Members."

Since I was just letting them know there was an issue, the lecture was not helpful (But I guess their lawyers force them to put this nonsense in).

Anyway: it's worked fine for years, now all at once it doesn't. Since linking to Quicken is a valuable service, to me, I will be calling them. Of course, it's equally likely that something changed at Quicken that broke the connection, but I don't know of any way besides this to get them to look into it.

    Hello All,

First, could you please provide a screenshot of the error your are seeing when trying to connect? If needed, please refer to this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.

We will be forwarding this issue to the proper channels to have this further investigated. However, we request that you please navigate to Help > Report a problem within your Quicken program and submit a problem report with log files and screenshots attached in order to contribute to the investigation. It would also aid the investigation to include a sanitized file when submitting the problem report. A sanitized file is a data file that removes personally identifiable information so you can comfortably share this file with the Quicken team.

While you will not receive a response through this submission, these reports will help our teams in further investigating the issue. The more problem reports we receive, the better.

We apologize for any inconvenience in the meantime! Thank you.

Same problem over here. Both my account and my wife's account with Schools First FCU stopped connecting to Quicken for Mac (version 7.10.1, Build 710.55389.100, Mac OS 14.6.1) sometime on 11/25/24. As of this morning, 11/29/24, still unable to connect/download using Quicken. I have checked my passwords by connecting directly to the Schools First website. Please let me know if anyone has had a successful resolution to this problem.

Same here — also happening to the WIN folks.

None of the dances/rituals about the assorted sign-outs, recoveries, sync restore, do-overs, as documented and spelled out by both the CU and Quicken work.

Uploaded everything into a problem report (including sanitized file) to quicken.

Full "report a problem" (with sanitized data files and screenshots) sent—- again.

Just curious —- what good is the data file after going through all the guided (and FAILED) recovery steps. All of the Schools First FCU accounts data are in the not connected for downloads mode.

Same problem. Submitted a "report a problem" last week, but waited until after the holiday weekend to start putting pressure on Quicken and Schoolsfirst to solve this issue - again. It seems to show up every year or two, probably with some security upgrade. They never let us know what the problem was, or where, only that it's been addressed, but it seems to be a recurring Schoolsfirst issue, as none of my other accounts are effected.

When I opened my Schoolsfirst account, my first question to them was about how well they worked with Quicken. They are a fine FCU in every other way, but if they don't work with Quicken, I will close my account there and move it to somewhere that does work with Quicken.

In the same way, I've been a Quicken user for a few decades now, but that doesn't get them off the hook for pushing to get this problem fixed - that's basic customer service, even if they're not the source of the issue.

It's been nearly a week, time to get this fixed.

Having the same issues with all Schools First accounts. It says my credentials are not correct and they are as I can log into the website with my browser.

Same problem here, have not been able to update SFFCU in about a week. I saw today that there was an update to Quicken, I downloaded and installed, no change in behavior. I am now on Version R60.15, build 27.1.60.15, running on Windows 10 Enterprise. I am able to log into SFFCU's website, and for now I am reconciling by hand. I hope to see that this is corrected very soon!

Is Quicken having a difficult time reaching Schools First? Yes, we all have the same problem logging into the account, but more important is, what is the status on this problem? Is TRANSPARENCY not important to us, the paid subscribers?

I'm very disappointed with Quicken Customer service at this time over this issue with SchoolsFirst. I've been a Quicken user for over 20 years and problems such as this have been resolved in a day or two. This is going on 8 plus days with no acknowledgement by Quicken until yesterday. Even at that, it is near impossible to talk to someone that can explain what the issue is, or why the delay in getting to a solution. I don't blame Schoolsfirst for maintaining their system to be as secure as possible to avoid hacking concerns and other privacy issues. I'm paying Quicken to follow through with making a connection to the credit union, I'm not paying SchoolsFirst to do that!
