How to invoice CAD $ in new Quicken Mac Classic Business & Personal Canada.
Hi, I just upgraded to release 8 for the Mac and noticed Invoicing has been added to the list of features which is brilliant. However…….
When I go to create an invoice I am only allowed to do so in USD, I can't find a way to change to CAD. Any invoices I print show up as USD. My business is in Canada, and works in CAD dollars.
My quicken file itself is setup with CAD as default currency. Is there a place I can change this?

noticed this as well, thankful they are working on updating the Mac Business and Home version but would like them to acknowledge Canadian features as well.
- ability to change the quarterly tax payment dates
- business mileage tracking to CDN $
- as you mentioned , invoicing in CDN $
- and my biggest Wishlist now that invoicing is added , ability to ADD bills to track tax for ITC.
hopefully one day can completely transition to Mac version

I apologize for any inconvenience the lack of these features may cause, though we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
At the moment, unfortunately, this is not a feature that is available in invoicing. However, to request this feature to be added in the future, what you can do is create an idea post. This way other users who have the same or a similar request can vote on your idea.
Our Development and Product teams frequently use our idea posts in order to improve Quicken and implement new features requested by customers.

Hi thanks for the quick response. Just to make sure I understand. Should I be adding an Idea Post to enable Quicken Classic Mac Canada to produce CAD $ invoices, would this be considered a bug?

@Dueterium It is not considered a bug, but a missing feature. Our teams do want to implement it in the future but since we do not have an ETA for this, creating the idea post will help show the demand from users who want it.

Hi I did try that but when selecting a category I am unable to select Quicken Mac Classic (greyed out)

@Dueterium Instead of creating another Idea post, you can actually just go ahead and vote on this Idea post that @James Tuttle just created for this, and also add a comment if you have anything to add to it.
You can vote by clicking the "Up arrow" located underneath the vote count (see below).

I just installed Quicken Classic for the first time yesterday (I'm in Canada) and was very surprised to find that the only option for invoicing was USD. In addition you assume that customers are only in the US as there is no option to add country. I would consider this a bug and as someone who does work in other country, I can't use this invoicing system until it's fixed. Otherwise I need to manually remove the USD for each PDF invoice after it's printed - tedious! Please advise when it's fixed.

Hey James, if we wait long enough , we may be the 51st state so CDN issues will be moot. Maybe that is what quicken is waiting for…. joking aside . I would like a update as well.
