Bill Pay Issues

I am having more and more issues with online bills being perpetually in "awaiting next bill" status. In particular, Centerpoint Energy (IN, OH) and American Water. The last online bill that I received in Quicken for both of those was late last year.
Also my city sewage bill which is listed as an online biller has never worked and has a perpetual "Fix It" button clicking never fixes.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix these issues?

Hello @raybtwo,
We appreciate you letting us know about this issue!
I went ahead and checked the internal status of these Online Billers and unfortunately, they both show a degraded status which is why it will fail to connect at this time. This has been reported internally, though we do not have an ETA on when this degraded status will be resolved.
If you provide the name of the city sewage biller, I can check the status of that one as well.
Thank you!

The sewage biller is TechPay.net
It would be helpful to Quicken customers if it was communicated to us when Online Billers are in degraded status so that we can plan accordingly.
Thanks for the quick response.

Thank you for following up!
I understand how helpful it would be for Quicken customers to receive communication when Online Billers are in a degraded status, and I’ll be sure to pass along this feedback.
Unfortunately, when I try to search for TechPay.net, it does not appear in our list of Online Billers. Can you tell us the exact name it uses when you search and select this Online Biller in the Bills & Income tab?
Thank you!

Search for "Terre Haute, IN Utilities"

Thank you for your reply,
When I check, that biller shows as healthy, and you should be able to connect.
When I look on our end, I can see the last sync attempt was today, and it shows a Pending status.
Have you attempted any troubleshooting other than clicking the Fix It button for this biller? If you haven't already done so, I suggest you try to Review and Repair Online billers. Please save a backup of your data file first (just in case). After that, please navigate to the Bills & Income tab and click on the gear icon on the top-right. Then, click on Review and Repair > Review and Repair Online Billers in the dropdown menu.
Once that is done, see if the issue still continues to persist.
Let us know how it goes!

I am getting the following error message when I "Review and Repair": Validation has detected a biller on the server (Terre Haute Utilities) which is incomplete or not present locally. If you have selected a subset of this biller…. etc.

Thank you for your reply,
The error message you're quoting lists Terre Haute Utilities. Are you using the Terre Haute, IN Utilities connection option, or a different one?
Thank you!

I am selected "Terre Haute, IN Utilities" when I did the Biller Search, after inputting my login info it is displayed in Bills & Income as "Terre Haute Utilities".

Hello @raybtwo,
Thank you for providing more information.
Have you tried removing and re-adding the online biller? First, I do recommend that you save a backup of your data file first (just in case). Then, to remove the bill; in the Bills & Income tab, please navigate to the Settings gear icon on the top-right, and select Manage Online billers. From there, in the Actions column, click on the downward arrow next to Edit Password and click Remove (see example below).
Once the biller has been removed, go ahead and try to re-add it and see if the issue still continues to persist.
Let me know how it goes!-Quicken Jasmine

I removed the biller and re-added and it is still generating the same error when I "Review and Repair".

Hello @raybtwo,
Thanks for attempting those steps.
I did check the internal status of this biller and can see that it is pending with an attached notice that states,
"We're working on linking Terre Haute Utilities. We'll let you know if we need anything else."
I did also perform an internal refresh with this account. Please allow 24-48 hours for the biller to update and then let me know if the issue is still occurring.
Thank you!
