Please add the ability to customize Investment Registers?
After reading many — many — articles in the Community, it is apparent that many people would like to have the ability to customize the Investment Registries in the same manner that the Banking Registries can be customized. Given that there has been no response to other requests, I'm thinking my request will likely be ignored too but I'll try anyway.
My specific request is the ability to move columns in the Investment Registries. I would like to move the "Clr" column four columns to the right so that it is to the right of the "Description" column.
OS: Windows 11. Quicken Classic.

Quicken Windows has very little ability to move columns around.
You can hide columns (which you can do in the investment registers too), but that is about it.
But neither have the ability to move them around pretty much any way you want, like is possible in Quicken Mac. And the main reason for that is Quicken Mac was started/rewrote from scratch starting in 2007 and as such used newer APIs that support such things.
To complicate things even more, the "investment register" isn't even as easy to change than the non-investment registers in Quicken Windows. Mostly because of the history of the investment register. It started its life as a "investment list", and Quicken Inc still refers to it as such. Over time it has started to look more and more like a register, but it is more of a hodgepodge of GUI components than a modern table kind of display that allows for this kind of functionality. Look what they did when they finally put in "Edit Multiple Transactions". It pops up another window to allow the user to select the transactions because they the "investment register" doesn't support multiple select.

I attempted to add a vote, but wasn't allowed. Good luck getting something that can't be voted for to reach any implementable status. Q why bother to add ideas to this area if we can't vote for them.

Hello @BobS2,
Thanks for letting us know! I just tested the up-vote button, and it seems to be working on my end. Could you tell us more about what happens when you click it? If possible, a screenshot would also help us better understand what you’re seeing.
If needed, please review this Community FAQ for instructions on how to attach a screenshot. Alternatively, you can also drag and drop screenshots to your response if you are not given the option to add attachments.
Thank you!

@BobS2 thanks for following up!
I reviewed your earlier reply, but there weren’t any details provided about the issue you’re experiencing. To help look into this, I will need a bit more information about what happens when you try to up-vote. If you can share a screenshot or describe exactly what you’re seeing, it will help us move forward.
Thank you!

I must refresh the screen to get the vote to register. I am running Chrome on Windows 11.
