Beta testing is fun, but only if you sign up to do it😁 I was not a tester for this feature other than being affected by this unfortunate episode.

Or get paid for it. Even in extended subscriptions. But nope…

… although you do get a chance to test out new features and prevent bugs from getting out there.

I did get the request to move to EDC+, but clicked "Remind me later". I'm waiting for official notice from Quicken that this is fixed.
I also lost track of whether EDC+'s missing transaction issue was fixed. When I switched to EDC+, none of the transactions in my accounts were downloaded. Was that ever corrected?

Those having problems with money market funds not treated how they want should check the setting under Edit account details/Update cash balance…/Cash Representation:

Hello All,
We've added more information to the Fidelity Alert, but just as an update:
We've started the migration for Fidelity again, but very slowly—only some users will be prompted, and if you say "Remind me later", then you may not be prompted again until the next 'wave' of the transition happens. Currently, the final cutover date is set for 9/25.
With the R64.25, we have resolved the majority of issues related to this migration. Two issues remain:
- 401(k) transaction issues. Transactions are no longer missing, but there is a mapping issue which is being resolved, therefore we have not started the Fidelity NetBenefits migration.
- CD prices are not yet fixed.
We expect the fixes to these two issues to come very, very soon—please follow the alert for further updates; and, we do apologize if there are delays in the updates—we want to be sure we're giving everyone the correct information.
Thanks!
Quicken Kathryn

Why are funds in SPAXX (core account) listed as cash while other money market funds, like FZDXX, show separately? This is confusing.

Everything seems fixed for me except CDs. I don't have NetBenefits. Also, I'm a newer Mac user (but have used Quicken in Windows since the 90s) and don't currently see the DC option.

I don't get the cash representation button

I also got the request to move to EDC and clicked "Remind me later". Everything seemed to work ok this morning.
Maybe a coincidence and unrelated to Quicken, but I received an email from Fidelity late this afternoon stating all my accounts are blocked. And it appears my login has been disabled. The Fidelity rep I spoke with had no details but assured me my accounts are secure but the fraud/security folks were gone for the weekend.
Anyone have similar experience?0 -
Are there any recovery steps that need to be taking after reauthorizing? It seems there are residual problems as reported at:
Deluxe R64.30, Windows 11 Pro

I added a new Fidelity account and it looks like I inadvertently switched to EWC+. Took a bit of time to clear out all of the trades that were redownloaded, but everything looks to be syncing properly.
However, after the One Step Update completes, I keep getting an CC-800 error. I've removed all Fidelity account updates and then reactivated online updates, but the error persists.
Update: I copied everything to a new Quicken file, spent half an hour to re-auth all of my accounts, and now it's finally working as expected.

Any update on this? When I first tried it yesterday, it duplicated transactions. I reverted to the prior Quicken version and tried again today. Ended up with a dataset error message during the reauthorization process. Is there any hope for this to be fixed? I see it's been going on a while…

Ah, yes, only certain accounts get this for some reason.

Any update on this? It's Sept 13, 2025, and it's still not working!

Actually, it repeatedly prompts to migrate - not just one time, as you wrote there. It does it at every OSU or account-specific online update.

There is no such setting for my version of Quicken. What version are you using?

And where can that be found in the Mac version? Not seeing it. Will go look at my Windows.

Hmmm… I get announcement and issue report emails from Quicken, but don't recall seeing any update about Fidelity (may have missed it as I get lots that aren't relevant to me). I tried to OSU this morning and was asked to reauthorize Fidelity, and it has failed twice.
Is there an official "announcement" thread about the status of Fidelity's switchover, that I can follow? For now, I have deactivated online access for my HSA account - is that a reasonable tactic?

@EmKay The recently updated official Alert is here
Despite the edited title, you must scroll down to the most recent post to see the latest status.

@Jim_Harman Thank you. The failure to reauthorize isn't addressed in this though, am I correct?

What I don't see on the Alert you linked is money market securities used as core positions not being treated as cash. Is this on the list of things to be fixed, because it's still not working.

I'm one of those with a Fidelity NetBenefits 401k account plus that account includes non-public funds. I hope those types of funds are being tested too! So I'm watching what happens with bated breath!

Any update on the reauthorization issue?

Is it not possible for Quicken to proactively notify users when issues like this come up? It's not great when our financial data is treated differently and every user needs to do troubleshooting on their own. Wastes a lot of time and creates a lot of angst. Fortunately, I have been delaying the Reauthorize for Fidelity, but that is not the default decision when Quicken shows the option to Reauthorize.
In your post, you say that R64.25 resolved the majority of issues. The release notes (for me) listed three fixes related to Bill Pay and that was it. Why would that information not be included in the update notes? In fact, the update notes should have not only said that there were some fixes for Fidelity, but also that the fixes are not yet complete. That should be at a minimum. Even better would be an email to all users who connect to Fidelity with a link to the Fidelity Alert that you linked above.
Quicken is not meeting the minimum level of expected customer service. You need to do better.

Tried the conversion to EWC+ this morning and I still experience the money market securities used as core positions not being treated as cash problem. Reverted to the previous connection method. Hopefully this gets fixed before I'm forced to convert to the new connection method.

@Quicken Kathryn Thanks for your Fidelity update. Could that information be added to the official alert, so it is easy to find?

I am running R64.25 (Quicken Classic Premier on Windows 11) and just tried to upgrade to the new connection method this morning. I still experience the issue of my core position not showing as cash as it correctly does using the old connection method. I’m concerned that this problem is not listed in the still outstanding problems you listed in your post. Is this problem still being worked on?

Please do NOT force the transition so close to month-end and quarter-end. Like many people with investment accounts, there are a ton of transactions at this time period and if anything goes wrong (and problems have existed since end of July), it will be a total mess. I've already had to backtrack to the legacy connection once and don't want to waste my time again. Please delay the forced transition until early October (meaning after the first week).
I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. Robert

Hello @Mark Wagner,
Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. To help troubleshoot, and check to see if this is a known issue, please provide more information. How is your core position showing in your account (money market fund, completely missing, etc.)?
I look forward to your response!
Quicken Kristina
