Emailing invoice from Quicken indicates email sent but they are never received
Just started using Quicken Business-Rental. Yes, I am still using an aol email address for my business. I have created an invoice, then selected the option to email the invoice. The email appears to be sent from Quicken however the invoice is never received.
I have seen a few other posts about this but nothing recent and I can't imagine these problems are not resolved by now. Anyway I did try to email the invoice to my personal gmail account after reading other Discussions but it is still indicated sent in Quicken and nothing is received.
What is the latest update on this problem?

Until the matter is fixed, and Q never announces in advance when any particular fix will be released, try "printing" the invoice to a PDF and attaching it to an email that you send from outside of Q.
While it's a bit more work, that will at least get the invoices to your clients.
Your profile just reads "Quicken Windows Other", and there is no longer a specifically "Rental" version of Q … so what product are you running and what RELEASE of that product? This info is at HELP, About Quicken.

Hello @LindaG77,
Thank you for reaching out! Often, if an email is showing sent, but the intended recipient isn't receiving it, the cause is something on the recipient's side blocking it. Is the intended recipient checking their junk/spam folder, in case the email is being directed there?
I do see there is an Idea post requesting that Quicken change the way invoice emails are sent to better align with DKIM and DMARC. If you haven't already done so, please review it and add your vote + a comment if it's something you'd like to see implemented:
I hope this helps!

Note that when Quicken emails invoices, they are sent from a Quicken server, not yours. In my experience they often end up in the recipient's spam folder. For the test email you sent, check your Gmail spam folder.

The emails don't end up in the recipient's spam folder. I sent myself an invoice and never received it. The sending and receiving emails are the same. In this day and age for a program like Quicken that touts itself as good for business to not be able to send emails through their own servers or defaulting to the user's email client is amateurish. You are correct, here in 2026, spoofed emails (which is exactly the method Quicken uses) don't go to Spam, they get flat rejected by the receiving mail server and deleted. It is absolutely insane that this hasn't been addressed yet.
